Another one: friends with exes, absolutely no in my book. The more meaningful the ex the more she should be out of his life. A casual fling or a relationship that never worked out and now they every once in a while check in with professional stuff (and the other girl is happily attached) I think is okay.

This sort of thing has to be on a case by case basis I think. If you’re gonna marry a guy, your power of veto over who he’s in touch with should be used wisely (like the girl he dating seriously and considered marrying) and not just generally other wise it’s normal to feel controlled and no HVM is gonna stand up for that.
