Libfems are a pain by default but somehow European ones seem to be even worse sometimes. I guess because there's just an added layer of unwarranted smugness about how much more "progressive" their countries are compared to us ~prudish Americans when in reality their male feminist citizens are awful and the women have to settle for hookup culture and pretending being used for sex is empowering. Not that we don't deal with that too over here, but at least we have some people calling it out.

This isn't true at all. I dated a Spaniard for 7 years, women in Spain are predominantly pick-mes. Boys wear blue, girls wear pink, type of mentality. The whole reason he started to date me was because I carried my own weight.

This is a joke. Spanish women are still very much co-dependent as the country is extremely religious and has 30 plus days a year off just for religious holidays, and that's just for the country, not for your own hometown, city, or province.
