Nothing but pure truth here. What's more is you may not like the person you become if you stay. No matter how much you lie to yourself, there's no peace that comes from staying. You'll always be on high alert because you'll never really forget what that person is capable of doing and any day, at any time, the other shoe can drop. Even though you may not think you have enough strength to walk away, it's worse trying to forgive yourself later on for staying.

Friend of mines boyfriend went out of state to visit his mom. While he’s there my fiend checks his IG only to find some girl commenting on all his pics and him commenting on hers.

She messages her to let her know he has a gf and he’s playing them both.

No response from the girl, boyfriend calls her (infront of girl) and tells her she needs to stop stalking him , that they are nothing and this girl has been his gf for the last 6 months.

This man was telling her daughter too call him dad saying he wanted to be a family with them. I still don’t understand being that level of trash .

Thanks for sharing this, it's so sad how many men do this to women. Her reasoning behind why you don't confront an SO (or anyone I guess) who does something so horribly disrespectful (especially when it involves intricate lies for months on end!) reminds me of something a former client of mine said: he said when a customer is calling you to complain, they're actually asking for permission to stay.

You see it daily in the relationship subs, people know deep down they should leave but they're asking random internet strangers because they're asking permission for another way out. Wish there was more recognition that not everything is salvageable :/
