I used to be a huge fan of having long text conversations with men. I would happily text them for hours at a time. However, I’ve come to realise that this is a really bad idea. Firstly, long text conversations are an immense waste of time. If a man wants to have a deep conversation with you, he should either pick up a phone or arrange a date. It’s also difficult to know whether you have his full attention. Secondly, texting is not an effective way of getting to know someone. Without tone and body language, conversations can be much harder to navigate. Texting should be reserved for making plans/short conversations. If a man is reluctant to pick up the phone and/or only relies on texting as his main form of communication, then kick him to the curb.
