While this concept is definitely true, I don't think the example of Kim K is a good one. She is famous due to her figure and very specific parts of it. She has capitalized on her own self objectification and continues to do so. A better example would be a well respected actress, specifically one who does not rely on her body to be famous. Maybe Emma Stone or Florence Pugh type.
