To you, it makes no sense to lead a guy on for ten years.

To a LVM, it sounds like a great deal to have ten years of consistent attention and sex.

To you, asking you out for coffee might make you think “he wants to get to know me!”.

To him, he knows that’s the bare minimum socially acceptable date he has to go through before he believes he will get what he wants.

To you, you only compliment people when you mean it.

To him, he read that women love flattery. He uses the same lines on everyone.

To you, it doesn’t make sense to lie about intentions.

To a LVM, it’s perfectly clear. It’s how he plans to get what he wants.

To you, splitting the bill shows you’re independent.

To him, it shows that you have no expectation he will treat you like a queen.

Do not analyze people from your own perspective. Not everyone is like you.
