This post is so true and scary. A quick tip I learned: when posting images to the internet on certain websites, remove metadata. This is info inside the jpeg file that sometimes has your name, location, camera type, date taken, etc. etc. Most big social media sites remove it automatically (like reddit, twitter, instgram, etc), but other sites dont. It's kinda terrifying.
You can usually remove metatdata by right clicking on the image file and going to properties.
