Easier to solicit nudes when you're already exchanging photos.

Don't bother suggesting texting. Just block and delete if he starts with asking for your Snapchat. High value men do not do this. If a man had interest in properly pursuing you, he'd ask for your phone number.

There is a particular brand of LVM that does not necessarily want nudes (or he knows he can't get them), but rather an easy way to communicate and get validation from women without having to resort to words. This is similar to the forever-text man, except that he doesn't even want to put the effort in to text. It's just pure laziness.

There's also a chance that he is the NVM that wants nudes or attractive pictures. It would be like him having his own personal instagram model; a SFW camgirl is better than no camgirl at all.

Either way, I've never met a HVM with a snapchat account.

They're N/LVM. They want you on Snap on not on the app so they can easily message like 15 women at once and get/send nudes, and possibly hide conversations from a woman they're already in a relationship with. They will never ask you on a date, you'll be perpetually stuck in the talking phase. It's cheap validation for them and and easy way to string you along as one of their options.

Like other commenters said, nudes. I had originally thought Snapchat was a good way to weed out cat fishing men (after going on a few dates where they were considerably uglier than their photos and I didn’t want to waste my time) until regular old flirting turned into BAM random dick. Didn’t ask for it, didn’t wanna see it but there it is. They get off on it, I for the love of me don’t understand why. I think it’s partly ego boost, partly thrill, and partly they might think a dick pic turns us on like our nudes turn them on. The latter is even more laughable because the women body is truly beautiful when naked, not a random wrinkly dick I didn’t ask for.

Nothing of value is lost when they ghost after you don’t give it to them. If you wanna see if their cat fishing or not do one quick FaceTime call the night before he sets up a time and place for your date. If he asks you anything inappropriate or to show him your body on FaceTime block and delete as well.

Yeah I don't have snapchat and didn't realize it was basically for nudes with these idiots. I downloaded it because a guy I liked kept pestering me to add him and then he instantly started asking about my pussy. Blocked, deleted, will never get snapchat again.

Nudes. I had a male ask me for my Snapchat and asking when I am free to hang. I informed him of when I am not available, and that I do not provide my Snapchat information to people who I have not met. He unmatched me and I cackled 🤣.

Never give out your Snapchat. And if they insist and unmatch. You know they were looking for only one things. Its my favorite way to filter men out.

My now-boyfriend told me he knew he'd found the one for him when I told him I didn't use snapchat! He doesn't use it either and would rather have a phone call over anything else - big green flags for me.

I see no good reason why snapchat should be used over any other form of communication. That being said I did have it briefly, but only to send silly selfies to friends and my dad! 😂

Lack of accountability, if you can’t look back and see how flakey he is, how rude he is, how little he considers your needs, if all of that just disappears, it’s easier to gaslight you into thinking that his poor behavior so all in your head. I use Snapchat with my friends, but even my boyfriend of 10 months isn’t on there, no way.
