1. Confidence. I want someone who is confident. Brave enough to go on stage, take risks outside their comfort zone, and initiate.

2. Time. 15 minutes every day on OLD over a week 15*7 = is 105 minutes, or 1 hour and 45 minutes. In that time I can take myself on a date.

3. Priorities. I’d rather focus on living my life, meeting new people, and doing what I love (my career) than worry about texting to get to know someone.

4. Mental drain. It’s exhausting keeping track of guys as you try to vet several at a time per day… only to have to block one, then another gets mad that you aren’t replying right away, block him too… rinse and repeat

5. Connection. Any conversation over text displaces face-to-face connection. To me, texting solely sets up dates.

Dating should be effortless

Most guys on OLD want sex... hookups.

Not worth your effort, your mental health, or your energy. No thanks. Nah, sis.

I searched for success posts with OLD and none came up, not even while I was looking for what others thought of OLD. Just memes and shitty stories about guys on OLD or off topic posts.

I understand if you want to OLD. But, I don’t.
