Does anyone else feel like they have a hard time relating with a large portion of people in terms of politics/gender views.

For example, I would consider myself to be a feminist, hold feminist/egalitarian beliefs, and think that increased diversity/equity is a good thing. But if you go over to askfeminists or another similar sub and the whole rhetoric is just blatantly punitive towards men with absolutely 0 nuance (men are always bad (or almost always bad), women have no institutional power, etc). Like y'all what an unhinged take of reality.

On the flip side if I scroll r/mensrights it's often pretty blatantly sexist/right wing. Like you can't win on either side lmao.

I wonder if this is some type of selection fallacy, the most loud/unhinged are the most likely to comment/post, but I wonder if anyone else feels this way?
