My parents and siblings pretty much understand that I'm just not gonna date or get married because 1. I've been pretty open about it and 2. I stopped caring about dating when I was like 15. My parents still sometimes talk marriage and kids with me but I'm man enough to shut it down. My parents know that I'll cut them off easily if they overstep too much.

For distant family (Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Cousins, etc) and family friends, I'll typically just say "I'm focused on my job and myself for now. I'm not really a fan of dating". That usually gets through to them easily and if they have a follow up question, it's usually easy to answer without telling them how I really feel about women, relationships, and marriage
