If you ask any married women who are married to regular bluepillers they will ALL tell you down to the last one that they prefer a guy who has a dad bod. Some will hesitate, but then say that too.

If you look at what they do, then you will realize that they are all liars. They all salivate at guys that have physique like a male stripper. Not a body builder, but visible muscles, 10-12% body fat, a perfect beach body. See Channing Tatum in Magic Mike. The guy is 35.

Why? Because they want the stability the husband provides and if he has a body like that, he has options and could replace her with a newer model any time he likes. They don't want him to have those options. They would rather have the options of replacing him with a younger model than vice versa. That's why they will tell you they like the dad-bod.

As always, don't listen to what they say, look at what they do.

My wife tried to sell me on the whole "dad bod" thing after I had been working out steadily for a couple months. I ignored it and about a week later she starts working out as well.

Pre-RP I started running hard. My wife seemed to enjoy it because it tired me out (less requests for sex) and I was out of the house (less clinginess.) I started to notice that I enjoyed myself more while running than I did around her. No complaints from her through and through.

She doesn't know, but her text messages come up on my kids iPad... just a byproduct of her name being the account its registered under. Her texts to her sister seemed to be along the lines of:

"He's running again."

"Oh that's good."

"At least it gets him out of the house"

"Yeah, he's annoying lately, huh?"

I've always been fit, a decent athlete, but not big or muscularly defined... even when I was lifting hard I was drinking a lot... so the muscle came with fat. I was 215 at my tops. When I started running again I was 190-195 and got down to a steady 185.

Then I read MMSLP and I made connections: Kay recommended lifting (for reasons we all know) and I connected what he said to how I felt about running. Awesome, I will combine the two. I joined a gym and started on Wendler's 5/3/1 program.

After 4 weeks the changes were very noticeable. I then upped my running to HIIT and tempo in the same week. Then the texts started changing:

"He's in the gym, alot."

"Why?"

"I don't know. He just started going. He goes 4 days a week."

"That's too much."

"I know."

My weight didn't change as the muscle mass outweighed the fat loss. 8 weeks in and my weight is starting to fall again as I change my diet towards a more protein-heavy diet. I'm at a steady 180. My musculature is more defined, the "V" below my abs is pronounced, my legs look like a thoroughbred's when I run, my chest is well-defined, and my lats protrude a bit. The texts changed again:

"Where is he?"

"At the gym."

"He goes too much!"

"I need to get my 5K time down. <RPAlternate42> made me a program and said I should add some weights."

"Oh that's good! You're already pretty fast though!"

"But I want to be faster."

So we see, that after 8 weeks of dedication, my time has rubbed off on her. She went from thinking I was in the gym too much to "I need to go to the gym more." Now she's setting goals for herself. Her sister even re-rationalized my wife's dedication to the gym after saying how I went "too much." (Solpsism, for those who wanted to know what that looks like.)

14 weeks in, today. My BF is around 12%, my weight is increasing slowly. I'm now on a SL 5x5 program and I supplement with DB work in the house. I run still, and I look better naked than I did even when I was in the Marine Corps.

2 nights ago I was doing arm and shoulder work with the DBs in my house (4x10, drop reps on any set I can't finish more than 5.) I was standing in front of the mirror in the dining room, doing curls, and she walks down stairs to the kitchen. Shes drinking some water while I'm curling. I'm standing, so my core is all tight, my chest is tight, my arms are swole, and she's, out of the corner of her eye, watching me and pretending to drink water. When I finished my set she is suddenly done drinking.

"Is this something new?"

"My 5x5 program doesn't have isolation, and since I don't get DOMS any more, I'm adding isolation on the smaller muscle groups."

"Oh, because I've never seen you work out before..."

Then she walked by, running her hand across my stomach and around to my ass, looking at me the whole time. She went upstairs.

The cockblocks were awake still and still calming down, but I wouldn't have followed her anyways: my workout comes first.

Why did I relate this little gem to you all?

Because the dad-bod is a thing no one actually wants. It's something women without men say they want so they can at least lock down resource provisioning. Using SJW tactics, they are pushing this agenda on happily-married-and-sexed-up women, and even worse, on single women still looking for that perfect Alpha-Beta; the "oak." This is a type of "crab-bucketing to bring top-tier women down to 3rd-tier levels.

Remember, oaks are hard... dad-bods are not.

I think it is some random HB5 girls who decided to proclaim to the world that "we don't like those fitness-obsessed guys anyway." It's the same logic that's behind "rich people are such snobs, I want a man that's down-to-earth."

It's just people trying to romanticize their limited options.

I actually had an interesting realization while reading a post by GLO on PPD.

One of the female posters stated that she didn't like big, muscled guys. GLO responded [paraphrasing], "It's a defense mechanism because you know you can't get a muscled guy. So you trick yourself into believing that you don't like them."

This really resonated with me, and rings true. I find myself doing the same thing. Tricking myself into re-adjusting my definition of hot to align with what I think I can get.

Be cautious; ham planet wives will try to derail your ever improving body with eating out, sweet treats, and other bad foods. Ham planets embrace the dad bod because it's exactly in their control.

I can't tell you how much I hate this new dad bod talk. And I still have a long way to go to get the body I really want. This is just an attempt by popular culture to reward giving up.

Although I am very new to MRP, there is no doubt that my most effective dread game has been going to gym. Now, every time I pass on sweets or carbs she offers, I see a hamster having a dread attack, too.

I have come to believe that they are always trying to create dadbod and will subvert your efforts to increase your SMV. They don't think about it, they just do it.

It's absolutely ridiculous. It's also a way for her (AWALT) to try to sabatage - "Shit, he's working out and looking great, but I don't want to. That's hard. I don't want to give up ice cream and sofa time. I better say something to stifle his motivations."

Just last night my SO proclaimed that I'm too "intense" about working out. Piss off. You're simply jealous that I'm getting better result than you are and that I occasionally choose the gym over snuggling.

AWALT - Listen to what they do. Ignore what they say. Don't make the mistake of accepting Dad Bod because she says she likes it only to find her fucking Chad Thunderbody next door a few months later. You now know what gives her the tingles. Ignore the BS propaganda elswhere.
