It's very dehumanizing to say that just because a boy has an erection it means that he is consenting. Even women who have been raped can also get orgasms during the act, but that does not mean that they are consenting. Not to mention you can get boners involuntarily without sexual arousal too. Also a lot of people "freeze" during sexual assault and rape.

My personal view is that a female teacher having sex with a 16 year old boy or an 8 year old boy is definitely different even though they both are wrong.

While it may definitely be true that teenage boys are generally quite sexually mature and in a lot of cases the relationship might appear to be "consensual" and not "forcible", since having been teenage boys ourselves we know that they on average are quite horny and might be more likely to be sexually aroused by or wanting to pursue an attractive teacher, there is still a lot that is wrong and harm that will be done.

One might argue there might not be "physical harm" or threat since teenage boys can overpower most women, however, it still involves mental and emotional exploitation and manipulation of the boys by the teacher since they are not mature or experienced enough.

There are also other harms for the boys, such as catching STDs or even worse pregnancy. Considering that boys as young as 12 and 13 have been forced to pay child support after getting raped by older girls and women, this itself is a serious issue that can cause a lot of long term damage.

A female teacher can also use the physical disparity between the two as an excuse to make a false allegation if say the boy resists or if she just pleases to do so.

Apart from the sex itself, there might be other areas where the boy is being physically and emotionally manipulated by the teacher.

So even though these acts might not seem physically harmful like many others and the boys themselves might admit that they are "enjoying" it, they are still a form of exploitation of the young student that might end up cause mental and emotional truama and also cause him concrete damage in long term.

However, in our current social zeitgeist.. Men CAN be raped.. but only by Men.. or by a woman sodomizing him with an object..
That is how it works currently..

In most western countries the crime of rape is gender coded / defined in such a way as to implicitly state that ONLY men can commit rape..
For women its often defined as "Unwanted Sexual Contact" Which, despite us being told "Is totally just as serious and treated just as seriously as Rape is!!" it doesn't carry the same weight or social stigma that the crime of "Rape" does.

Our bodies respond to stimulus and often outside of our control..

Not only that but Viagra slipped into a man's drink will force him to get hard against his will.
Fear and Adrenaline can also cause erections..

The point is.. a man being erect is not enough to imply consent..

In summary, Rape is a crime that applies to ALL genders and is not solely a crime that only women face..
Yet we still only focus on women who are victims and outright ignore / blame men who are victims..

idk if it's as serious as rape but I've been assaulted (first time used this term for this story) by a man when I was a teenager. he was a friend i made randomly. he was a gym trainer so i used to hang out with him sometimes in his gym and he used to teach ne a thing or two about workouts. At that age i didn't even think that what was happening was wrong. he used to do nasty things to me in the sauna room of the gym, i would resist but couldn't force him out. he continued until he found a new guy. i made a mistake by telling it to my friends. they made fun of him first and i also laughed it off but then they started making fun of me too and neither if them felt reassuring cause I didn't knew what happened was wrong.

this was only one of the incidents. my mum's partner(not my father) used to touch me when i was a kid. and one of the recent ones which happened in 2021 again got touched and creeped out by a bi-man(married).

i never mentioned these incidents to anyone, except the first one which i did because of immaturity. i still don't know how to react in these situations. i have severe anxiety so i find it difficult to confront these things but somehow they feel wrong.

I want to ask this sub an honest question, because I don't know what to think about my own situation: As 12 year old, nearly 13 year old, an adult woman had sex with me. I did not seek it out, but I went along with it and I enjoyed it. I do not feel like I was raped or molested, but I do think it was a violation on many levels, since no one should do that.

The fact that society largely sees male sexual desires as ambivalent is a big reason why we need to change the discussion around rape culture to include the fact that, when women do it to us, it's immediately considered consensual by default.

This makes it notoriously difficult to fight back against legally and socially.

If a woman forces me to penetrate, it would not even get past the stage of a police report because where I live, women can't be charged with rape.

Furthermore, the general attitude of women in Australia seems to align with the view that women can never do anything wrong, and it's starting to drive some very scary social and legal changes. The way many women here just ignore when women do objectively bad things is bordering on cultish zeal.

The reaction I got from women in my life when I told them about the multiple sexual assaults I've suffered at the hands of women, when I was a child, varied somewhat - but most of them couldn't quite fathom it, and seemed to have to try and explain away the behaviour of the women involved (thankfully my wife understood and was extremely sympathetic). One even tried to blame me for "letting myself get assaulted". Yeah sure babe, I was like 5 but no problem I should definitely have fought her off.

They just let yet another woman off with no custodial sentence, this time a mother stabbing her children, so I doubt anyone would give a fuck if a woman assaults a man. At this point I wonder what it does take to get a woman thrown into prison for doing the exact same thing a man would be doing hard time for.

Like let's say a man can overpower a woman and push her back and run away, a women can't do it to a man because he's more strong.
