I've ranted about this before but seeing it come up again reminds me how irriated I am over seeing this. I don't doubt misogyny is something that exists and it's a stupid, ignorant form of bigotry (as is misogyny), but how is it systemic? It certainly isn't systemic in Western nations for sure, where women always get so much in the way of favorable treatment and special protection and always have their rights prioritized. Meanwhile men and boys are always neglected and any sort of bigotry against them is perfectly acceptable and even encouraged. Claims of systemic misogyny to me come off as more misandrist victimhood and trying to deflect from the fact misandry and anti-male sexism not only exist but are acceptable and even encouraged and enforced.
