If you want to look at women in the best light, our society practically encourages women to hate men, and to say it out loud. So you could argue it's not their fault they say such things. The thing is, personally I don't care why they say it. I take the hint; they don't like us, so I went MGTOW at a young age. Hey, it sure has simplified my life. No big loss as far as I'm concerned. Why chase people who don't like you? And if you have true character, you realize "needing sex" is just the way men have been brainwashed.

They hate the reality that the men they're attracted to (bad boys) won't commit and/or cheat on them. The good guys aren't even on their radar so they don't even count as "men". So what they're essentially saying is "I hate men because none of them are dangerous and exciting, reliable and committed, wealthy and a selfless provider, have a dark side but are a loving and caring father and husband." They expect it all and hate men because none of them have lived up to this unrealistic fantasy.

What is it about men in general that they’re willing to make such a strong generalization about HATING an entire group of people in which some of their favorite people belong to?

Usually it's a love-hate relationship they had with a badboy because that's what they choose doesn't choose them or bow down to the girlfriend until she sabotages the relationship, usually with single behavior.

But don't take offense to the term as all emotional response from a woman is the same reaction with the same results, she will still jump into the bed of a guy she hates more than a guy she just likes and not attracted to.

It's not ok to hate women or fear women. Or think women can be dangerous.

So business like usual. Women are demanding understanding and respect they themselves refuse to give. So classical double standards.

And honestly, it's with a lot of movements people demanding things they are not willing to give themselves.

Especially on the women's side. Cause it'd based on how they feel about something not how fair is something. And fairness makes that on both sides the rules are the same. What basically is never the case.

So saying I hate men is fine. Saying I hate women is not.

Fat body positivity is fine for women. Men still get shamed for being fat or short.

And there endless examples that can be made. It's never been about being fair. It's always been about making special privileges based on feelings what is a useless and stupid way to push on whole society size.

It makes people one one side feel entitled to all kinds of things like there princess. On the other side it makes people not motivated to keep putting in the work cause the requirements are to high and the rewards too damn low.

And there has always been a risk and the more work and effort you put in the more you get for that work and effort. So the more value you put in the system the more you get out of it in return.

It's not like that anymore or slowly getting less and less. Why society is slowly getting worse and worse.

Men know you can't just ignore women's need. Yet the world is very quick to ignore men's needs. Till it's often too late. And even then they find it some way to blame men.

Well I honestly think no woman who had a good relationship with their father would likely utter that phrase so casually but I could be wrong. That being said I think it's that generally men are conditioned and expected to be accountable for themselves and actions but also to police other men. I mean quite literally the overwhelming majority of law enforcement and military are men, keeping many other men from causing mayhem and disorder. I think women love to generalize and shame men in the hopes that more men will become "white knighted" and see men with suspicion and vitriol as so many modern women do today. Women can say they hate men yet still love what they have to provide.

The most concerning part is that they probably do mean it. Because when/if I a man says "I hate women", it's not meant to be taken at face value, it more so means "I hate how most modern women think and act with regard to men". We're mostly incapable of genuinely hating them even if we were to claim otherwise. But when they say they hate men, I think they genuinely look down on us as worthless beings. It's the god complex society has given them. It's tragic to see. Not that words mean anything when they use them anyway... It's all about the emotions behind them. Words are like magic spells to them. They use them to get what they want, not to establish genuine connections.

Assuming they love the men in their lives, they tend to still hate it however when those same brothers, fathers, partners, or sons admit or say anything about not liking the woman’s sexist comments, and will usually tell off that male relative as invalidating her. At best however she’ll just do the “no, I don’t REALLY mean I hate all men” or “your not like most men, your diffetnet from most men” which is belittling.

They are just venting frustration in the moment (and obviously don't mean it). It's just that society considers generalized negative statements about men to not be a big deal, thus Enabling women to say it openly without fear of consequences, so they just do it.

I noticed that most women will say things like "I hate all men" after a man THEY CHOSE to be with uses them or cheated on them etc (and it is usually not the first time). It's not all men, just the bad ones they keep going for. Sometimes they will accuse a good guy of being that way even if he isn't because "All men are the same." Another generalized anti-men statement some women will say.

I’m not sure if opinions from women are welcome here but I definitely have the answer for this one. There’s a few categories of the “I hate men” crowd. Women who say it bc it’s a trendy thing to say, women who have done enough research on the disparities between men and women, women in countries that aren’t safe for women, women with extensive trauma involving men.

I would say that I fall into the trauma and research categories so I’ll speak on my own experience for reference. There are countries I grew up wanting to travel to that I cannot visit due to the intolerance and gang raping of women. Every woman in my life has been sexually assaulted and/or beaten by a man. Myself included. Multiple times. So even in a developed country we aren’t safe from them. They exert their power over us in nearly every aspect of life. Our own former president is quoted as saying “you can do whatever you want when you’re rich. Grab em by the pussy”. Someone was actually voted into office with the most heinous opinion of women and poc.

I’ve extensively explained why men are terrifying. Let’s get into the bullying. Women are told by society (men and ‘pick me’ women) that we can’t be too loud, can’t be too opinionated, can’t grow hair where our body does naturally, can’t wear our hair up without being sexualized, can’t use slang like “slay, demure” because it insinuates a lack of intelligence, can’t be too successful (wouldn’t want to upstage your husband), can’t have kids too young, can’t have them too old, can’t NOT have them, men want us to contribute equally as well as being homemakers, women can’t pick up male dominated hobbies, occupations, or sports without being bullied into oblivion. (The list could seriously go on eternally) Women and girls aren’t allowed to do anything without being shunned for it.

So these are rather “in your face” examples but men participate in the oppression and dehumanization of women in covert ways as well. I can’t tell you how many men have shared with me that their buddy is a complete creep and they’re still friends with them. Men will knowingly associate with rapists, woman beaters, and pedophiles. Men will hear other men saying horrific things about women and girls, then call it locker room talk. It’s just the boys right?

With all things considered, are men all horrible human beings? No. Nobody thinks that. But if we don’t point the finger at men for the actions of men, then who? Who’s to blame for the financial, political, medical, and sexual terrorism on women? There are so many topics I could’ve talked about for hours that I haven’t even touched on; women not being taken seriously at doctors offices, how men react when they hear a girl playing a video game, the wage gap, the creation of the “pick me” archetype. But I think I’ve said enough for you to understand the hatred. It isn’t personal. And if you care about the quality of life of your mothers, wives, and daughters then you should be pointing your finger at your fellow man as well.

So there you go. You don’t have to hate men (singular) to hate men (as a group).

Being a woman myself, I think the answer to your question is fear. People tend to “hate” the people they’re afraid of as a coping mechanism. I mean nowadays in the western world - not counting microorganisms - I think it’s safe to say that men are our biggest natural predators.

And I don’t only mean that in the sense of violence - although that is a very large factor. I also mean other characteristics and behaviors that often go hand in hand with violent personalities. I believe that when women say they hate men, most of them are referring to what men, as a group have done to them and others. They hate that they have to live with the consequences of actions mostly done by men. They hate to have to live in fear of men

Obvsly this is only my interpretation of it and I don’t mean to speak for anyone but myself. I also think that saying “I hate men” is a very controversial statement for obvious reasons, but i believe the solution to the problem is trying to understand one another.
