I’m a woman. I accidentally ran into this page and decided to take a look, due to curiosity and trying to see how men think. There are some things I agree with, and some I don’t. But one thing I noticed, is international men’s day being brought up several times. And let me just say. International woman’s day does feel good, and feels like it gives recognition for everything we do. It feels nice to be recognized and noticed, you know? Which, you obviously do. Bc you want to be acknowledged too. So now to my main point.... MEN. Coming from a woman, thank you. Idk how to fix my car, I’m not very strong so lifting things is harder, I don’t wanna catch the mice in my house, or kill the spider... I can’t reach the top shelf, I’d have to climb. From heating my car up for me in the morning, to cleaning snow off of my car, to plowing snow, to fixing broken things, to making me feel safe, to working hard for our family (although I do too), and the list goes on. Sure, I could manage these things on my own. But I’m thankful for my husband, and I’m thankful for the men that make sure others are well taken care of. Women do a lot too, we do, trust me, and a lot does seem to go unnoticed. But it’s mutual between men and women. At least the good ones trying their best. Men deserve a day too, so to the good ones out there, thank you for being our big strong rocks. Edit: Some people are getting pretty offended by what I said. And never did I say you don’t have brains, dreams, hopes, and love to give. All humans do. I wanted to point out the little extras that a man does in his day to day life, that we appreciate. The extras. More than companionship, and love, and their minds. More than the things that make them who they are, the same as it makes any human more than they are. The same way a woman does those “extras”, the things that aren’t EXPECTED from our companions, but that we appreciate bc they could choose not to.
