This sub is a great opportunity to talk about men’s rights and move forward for total equality between genders.

If we are going to have equality, we need to eliminate inequality. How are we supposed to do that if we don't talk about specific examples?

By "dragging women" do you actually mean "dragging feminists?"

That's usually about how it goes. Or sometimes the complaint is about someone saying something true about women, like talking about their tendency to be hypergamous or the higher likelihood of women killing children, or an anecdote about a female abuser or rapist or murderer or something.

This sub is a place for men to gather and think, share stories, and gripe when they need to. And if that seems often to you I'm sorry for you because a lot of men have been deeply hurt, taken advantage of, financially and emotionally destroyed and frankly fucked over by women. So yes. gender bias in family court
lack of bodily autonomy for boys below the age of consent (e.g. infant circumcision)
gender discrimination in military conscription
gender gap in life expectancy

The issue is that this sub has been largely hijacked by the far right, i e UK Cuntservatives and US Republicunts.

Looking at the comments and yeah, I see what you mean.

Personally I'm more focused on the law aspect of men's rights, like being punished for the same crime regardless of gender e.g. physical abuse gets xx years regardless of what your gender is.

Like yea there are some women who aren't too great and may identify as feminists, but they are simply bad 'people' and do not represent all women, similar to how male rapists do not represent all men.

I have tried to post a couple of things in this sub that I thought could provoke interesting discussion neither were allowed I'm guessing because they did not immiedtly follow a "women bad" narrative. I manage to be blocked from posting by both mens rights and feminists.

I find the real problem here is an obsession with discrimination against men, which is a minor sideshow. There's not a lot of interest in talking about the real challenges that face men today (education, employment, a declining need for traditional male roles/virtues, etc.).

It's very similar to feminist discussions of the wage gap that focus on discrimination rather than looking at it as an issue of parenting in the modern economy.

Maybe that's just the nature of the MRA framing v. men's advocacy.

"Progressive" conversations are often the people who use things like "white male" "heterosexual" and such as derogatory words, who enforce gender and racial quotas instead of supporting all people to push themselves to be needed rather than seek people who objectify their race, sex and religion for good pr and easy hires.
