I've seen a lot of RP writing and posts here on PPD that equate passivity with submissiveness. I don't think that's always how things play out in the real world.

You don't have to be a domineering, Type A, "Do this and do that" micromanaging type of person to be respected and get things done.

IRL I'm a very laid back, idgaf what you're doing as long as it doesn't affect me and mine type of guy. I've never seen this hurt me in any of my platonic or romantic relationships contrary to popular RP belief. I truly just don't care about 99% of shit, so I don't really have problems too often.

I think that if your presence is strong enough and you say what you mean when you say it, you won't really have a problem.

What does PPD think?
