Ever since high school, I’ve seen articles pop up online about how women orgasm less than men. I always knew this was a thing, but what confuses me is the contrast between the statistics and how women describe it.

The stats themselves say women finish around half as much as men (a 50% gap) ..which is a big gap don’t get me wrong… but when most women describe sex, they seem to talk about orgasms like it’s this extremely rare and elusive thing, like winning the lottery. It’s genuinely hard to find anything online about women having orgasms with men, because 9 times out of 10, the article is just saying how women rarely ever orgasm with men. For every 1 time I’ve heard a woman say “a man made me finish” I’ve heard 20 women say “I faked it” or “I felt nothing” online torwards their sexual partners.

For contrast, look at the pay gap, last time I checked it was around 30% (70 compared to 100) yet I have never heard a woman say “we rarely ever get paid” it’s always just “we get paid less than men”

So is the 50% gap thing a lie? Do women finish more like.. 5? 10% of the time?
