It really depends on culture. If you live in Asia or have an Asian family, more specifically a traditional Asian family, it's harder to be known not to be a virgin than it is to be a virgin-- if you are unmarried. Community shaming, family "face" etc make it hard to not be a virgin and easy to be one.

It’s only as hard as you allow it to be. I’m 21, female, fairly attractive, thin, but I’m a virgin. Never even kissed a guy. I want to get married and have children one day but I just haven’t found a man I want to do that with. Virginity shouldn’t matter to people as much as it does. There is no biological basis for it and it mainly serves to shame people (both slut-shaming and virgin shaming). I’m a virgin because I choose to be and I also have social anxiety. I have zero qualms with being a virgin because I don’t care about virginity. On the flip side, I am not special in any way for being a virgin. Thinking female virgins are some diamond in the rough is stupid. We are no different than non-virgin girls anymore than someone who has skydived is different than a person who hasn’t skydived. Virgin preferences, especially those held by non-virgins, are creepy and based on myths.

There are a lot of people who don’t have sex outside of relationships. They aren’t into hookup culture, and generally would have stayed a virgin until they had someone they were serious with.

I’d say yes. It’s like a job application. You need experience to get a job other worse the application is rejected. And almost no one is willing to give you a chance to work. But if you have work experience, then it becomes easier for you to get a job, and more people would be willing to give you a chance to work. Just like that, I think if you’re a virgin, people automatically think there’s something wrong that your doing and rejected you almost immediately and don’t bother giving you a chance. But if you’re not, they assume you know what you’re doing, you have first hand experience and more people would wanna sleep with you/give you a chance

If we're talking about the average looking person who has been socialized to an average degree with an average sized network... it shouldn't be too hard to get laid, but other factors like region, culture, urbanity, etc. are also going to affect your chances.

Being a virgin isn't hard. I don't have issues in my day-to-day because thst question doesn't ever come up unless I'm at the doctor. Unfortunately for men, it's a negative quality for most women (in the West). In Asia it wouldn't matter much as long as the guy is within a certain age range. Same goes for women. You can be a virgin up to your early middle age, anything beyond that and people are going to assume there's something extremely wrong with you. Unless you're an asexual. Make them feel bad about judging you.

When it comes down to losing my v-card, I'd prefer to do it with a fellow virgin if possible. It would be a judgement-free act (I hope).

I actually think that having a high sex drive made it easier for me. I've always been used to not acting on most sexual impulses I've had because it would be inappropriate, so I'm able to follow my values rather than just being horny as I am most of the time. I'd sat the hardest part of being a virgin was that I had to hide it out of social stigma, especially as an adult. I had a couple of instances of being told there was something wrong with me when people found out.

I don't think it's particularly hard being a virgin, sex sounds like it could be really nice but also like it can be horrible and painful if the other person wants to hurt you.

For the most part no one in my actual life cares that I'm a virgin, it's a weird thing for someone to care about.

And I don't think I'm below a 4/10, but maybe you would consider me to be. Attraction is subjective.

I think you're throwing around numbers and assumptions here.

Something we can all agree on is that it is easier for women than it is for men to find partners for casual sex. As men, are typically, easier to sleep with, with NSA. This might be why you're saying that there is fewer "attractive women" that are virgins as most decent looking women, can normally find someone (if they so wanted to) to sleep with.

However, women are pickier and whilst many enjoy casual hook-ups, many also prefer to wait out, choose people they connect with etc.

The flip side to this is that whilst women get their picking of who to sleep with, men get to pick who they want relationships with and these two groups don't exactly fish from the same pond.

It's very hard to generalise or to give numbers to something so personal.
