I know a guy who was average looking, but his voice is pretty deep, but not just deep, its chill and authoritative naturally without being try-hard and everyone comments on it. It is a huge halo effect on him

I know a jock whos tall, built, and look good. But his voice is literally nasally and annoying, it deff brings him down lol cuz it doesn't match his looks

It goes into it for sure. Hell there was a girl I thought was gorgeous until I heard her voice, extremely high pitched and I couldn't do it anymore. Had to pass.

The look of the person also determines how a voice can impact attractiveness. The guy you linked looks like he would sound like he does so it isn't a big deal at all. If a 7 has a voice like that then it might bring him down to a 6 or 6.5.

Having some bass in your voice helps, but won't necessarily make it for you or destroy your chances unless it's extreme.

My voice is crazy deep but I have bad anxiety so I hide it. Sometimes it comes out by accident and the way women react, they are shook lol. They like it for sure.

You'd think that would change me to not have anxiety around it but I guess I still have fear of being noticed by people and so that's why I hide it. I can't help it I'm broken as fuck.

All I know is the ladies sure do like a deep voice.

I think voice is one of those things that only enters the equation if it's really, really bad. The overwhelming majority of people of both sexes just have normal, inoffensive voices. The number of times in my life I've seen/met a woman who was otherwise attractive but her voice completely turned me off was... once? Maybe twice?

So I don't think it's as big of a factor as you're making it out to be, unless maybe if women are way more senstive to that sort of thing than men are.

Yeah, it’s definitely a factor in attraction.

Women I know talk about how sexy men with deep voices are way more than they talk about liking men who are tall or buff. A lot of women lust after Corpse (the youtuber) and they don’t even know what he looks like. Just that his voice is sexy. I disagree with a lot of posts on here generalizing what women find attractive, but a preference for deeper voices is one thing that is probably more universal amongst women than a preference for stereotypically visually masculine features.

But there aren’t many cases (for either gender) where someone’s voice would be a dealbreaker. I’ve never heard a woman irl say anything negative about a man who didn’t have a deep voice.

I find it most attractive when a guy has a nice, smooth sounding voice, regardless of whether the pitch is on the higher or deeper side. And accents are always sexy. The only male voices that turn me off are “gruff/scratchy” ones.

Damn, another reason to hate myself and lose self esteem. My voice isnt as bad as the guy in the video, but it is similar.

The only thing that deepens my voice is smoking, but thats unhealthy and unattractive.

Looks like this 6 just went down to a 4 or 5 in most women’s book’s. I’m really starting to get frustrated. I’m tired of being devalued over shit that isn’t my fault and that I have no control over.

It's not underrated at all, it's a factor but it's not super important unless it's severe. I have what most would consider an attractive voice (kinda deep, naturally projected, eastern European accent) and the only people who comment are other men and gfs I've had scrambling hard to find things about me they think are attractive so I don't feel bad about all the actually hot men they used to fuck before they settled for me.

Not high, not low, just in the middle, and not chilling, but kinda "vibrant" and resonating. It's like if it comes from the chest and not the mouth, and people often tell me to speak lower even if I'm not forcing it, because in certain rooms my vocal pitch can bounce on the walls to the point it makes some kind of really loud eco or something haha.

(As a note, if you have that kind of voice, don't gossip in the church. Kid you not! Don't do it).

You know what's funny?

I used to play in a rock band and hooked up with the chorus girl. Once at their singing lessons, her teacher told me "you have a classic italian voice". And he's kinda right, I'm of italian descents.

And it doesn't help with british, sounds annoyingly weird in my native lenguage (spanish), portuguese... Absolutely awful hahaha.

But as soon as I let slip a "come va? Piacere di conoscerti" my voice just tone it down and women are like "wooaaa you speak italian!!!" hahaha.

So if you're having problems with your voice pitch, learn other lenguages and move countries...

Or better, sing rock/metal. It worked for me.

Absolutely. One of the main reasons why I was attracted to several of my exes were their voices. Some were deep basses, others well developed baritones or tenors. It's more about the quality, timbre, of the voice than the range.
