We are the warrior gender and are compelled to war to secure genetic advantage in breeding. That determines our worth. Women collectiviely cooperate to ensure the fittest of the male gender will advance evolutions agenda. So not only do we have to prove our fitness in battle, alone, but at home and around the campfire which is dominated by the protocol of women and co-opted weaker men. To stand apart in that is endless risk management for the man with the will to power.
