Perhaps, but men still tend to overwhelmingly prefer a small group of women just as women tend to overwhelmingly prefer a small group of men. Hinge stats demonstrate this pretty well. Women use 58% of their likes on the top 10% of men, while men use 46% of their likes on the top 10% of women. It's very concentrated at the top for both genders.

A woman in the top 1% gets 70+ likes for every one like received by a woman in the bottom 50%, so it's not like men's preferences are that diverse or random. If they were completely diverse and random, a woman in the bottom 50% would be no less likely to receive a like than a woman in the top 1%. That's clearly not the case.

Part of that difference between 58% and 46% is driven by men with premium subscriptions of like essentially every woman in mass. So while most men selectively use their 8 likes a day, this small subset of guys is blasting out 100+ likes a day to every women they see. Given their ability to send unlimited likes, these guys have an outsized impact on the distribution for women. There's no way to say how much of the 58% vs. 46% difference is attributable to these men, but it's a non-zero amount. A few percent of men behaving that way could completely explain the difference. A lot of the likes received by women in the bottom 50% likely come from these men who are blindly mass liking everyone.

Leaving race aside, if you compare the men seen as super hot in western media vs. eastern media, they are not that similar. The degree of muscular/lean also matters. I’ll just use the co-lead of Pursuit of Jade as an example since that’s the hot 2026 Cdrama. There’s almost no emphasis on his build throughout other than that he’s a capable soldier and is looks normal-weight. Hell, the first third of the show in his recovery from injury arc, the guy was wandering around with a cane. He’s got a very pretty face, which the show is not shy about, and I might be biased being Asian, but it is not ‘western’ hot like the types you’re imagining (guessing the Brad Pitts and Henry Cavills).

This is also a pretty looks-fixated post, though I suppose this is what RP-black pill has ultimately devolved into.

Ive had so many conversations with women about their types. Turns out they all enjoy different things.

I for example like short men 🤷🏼‍♀️ Im not the only woman who does.

Women can be just as diverse when it comes to having a type.

Anecdotal, but I like Arab men, not too muscular. My husband is Arab. My sister likes the Jason Momoa type muscles but it's not my thing. One of my best friends liked skinny Latino guys. I have another friend that like heavier, biker type guys. I have a friend into black guys. The only friend I have that is actually married to a tall white guy is a Latina.

I know my group may not be the norm but there are definitely attractive women out there that are into men other than the tall white guy type.

The problem with this post is that the face is what matters the most, then height, then ethnicity, then the age, every other thing like frame(not muscularity frame) is supplemental, gymmaxxing and building muscle will have minimal gains.

Everyone has types, and the types can differ between one’s own individual wants. Your framing of “white, chizzled jaw, muscular, etc” is flawed inherently because some women indeed prefer someone who looks like that, others are indifferent, others hate it. However, men actively just don’t believe us when we say we like other types of men - so why even debate this if this will only likely be met with disbelief?

I think a lot of men severely underestimate how much type is influenced by behaviour for women. Because women rarely only use physical attributes as a way of attraction. Sure there is a baseline of type for every woman but if the behaviour of that type is not to a womans liking she wont be attracted to him.

So if a woman says she is attracted to slender, long haired guys but he behaves like an alpha male podcast bro that could be a disqualifier.

For men that doesn't matter as much. As long as she is physical his type he doesn't care as much about her behaviour/character. This is why men give each other the advice to "not stick their dick in crazy". They actually need to remind themselves to pay some attention to a womans character. Otherwise they wouldn't care at all.

Thats not the case for women. A male companion doesnt just need to fit her physical type at least in some way he also needs to fit her mental type. Which is a much bigger issue for men than women.
