I don't know if 6/10 is fixable, but chubby is definitely fixable. Which can easily add a point or even 2 to the total score.

It's very unusual to run into straight up fugly skinny girls.

Also upper middle is pretty high bar. Most of those get snatched up quickly during their teenage years.

Try man hobbies. I go to boxing matches. I do laser and archery tag. I go to more masculine musical acts who do rock and metal. Those crowds are overwelmingly male.

I must ask where women are though. I obviously don't do a lot of feminine hobbies.

If you are a 6/10 woman and do not already know where upper class men hang out, then they already do not want you. You can find upper middle class men at activity clubs. I would suggest an activity like hiking, climbing, or kayaking. These will have younger men who are in decent enough shape. You can find these clubs through Meetups. For lower middle class men, you will find them at the bars or house parties.

these guys usually meet women either through work or their social circle. and by "work" i don't necessarily mean they are hitting on co-workers during the day. more like work-related social events and mixers, or meeting up with people after work at a happy hour (yes usually at bars or restaurants).

the other main option is social circles. my female friends are always trying to play matchmaker and set people up with each other. ask your girlfriends if they know any nice single guys that they'll set you up with.

I guess i kinda meet that criteria even tho I'm a little crazy. Met most of my gfs even I was younger mostly through work or when in was in a biker group.

Other then online dating most men i know Just go to work then spend time on hobbies. Mostly fishing, hiking, hunting. I also visit my parents every weekend.

Try applebees? Lots of singles still go out to eat at those restaurant bar areas. It's the new trend.

Most of them already have structured social lives that allow them to not have to "go out" to find people. The happy, well-rounded middleclass dude is having small gatherings at his house of 2-5 friends that he knows and has probably casually vetted over a period of time from his extended social circles or work over at his place for football/TV/beers/weed/tabletop RPG whatever they all do together.

They all go out to events like fairs and fests with their gf's and have hobbies they share with each other in their garages.

Some of them might dip their head into Reddit, but shit like the pillospheres would confuse them, because they have never experienced difficulty dating. They've been having relationships with people they meet through their friend group.

They’re probably all around you, you’re just not attracted to them because you think you deserve “better.”

Your own hypergamy is thinning out your field of potential suitors to the point that it’s frustrating you.

Best way to deal with that is to get introspective, objectively self observant, and self critical and realize that you’re probably only having trouble finding “suitable” men because your definition of “suitable” is unrealistic.

You may wish to start (or finish) with recognizing that you’re likely evaluating men based on their potential utility to you instead of their beings. That’s the first step down the road of pricing yourself out of the market.
