Serena Williams has got engaged to Reddit Founder, Alexis Ohanian. God bless him, we're all in his debt!

Williams is worth $150 million, which means she is significantly wealthier than Ohanian. But according to the global rich list, Ohanian is ranked in the top 0.06% on the planet in terms of wealth, with under 3 million people being wealthier than him. This means that if Williams dated completely at random, she would have to date 1,666 men on average to find one as wealthy as Ohanian.

Usually in these scenarios, those that for some bizarre reason choose to deny the fact that women almost without exception want someone of the same or better socio-economic status as them will claim that really high status women only get involved with really high status men because they move in the same circles.

But let's take that out of the equation completely. Simple hypothetical question.

If Serena Williams met Alexis Ohanian, and he had exactly the same looks, personality and qualities that he has now, but he merely posted on Reddit instead of founding it, had a decent professional career, and made around $60,000 per year (approximately $15,000 more than the median average), would she have got engaged to him?
