... but why do men hate the friendzone so much? Because I always hear men talking about the high suicide rates and how they don't have a good social net to fall back on, and that no one cares about them. Now, I'm not trying to say that these things aren't true or aren't absolutely horrific, on the contrary, I think it's one of the big problems of society. I also can absolutely believe (though I haven't experienced this personally, since I'm not a man) that men can have difficulty to be vulnerable with eachother or show emotions. But why don't they accept the friendship of women when it is offered?

I'm very, very interested in personal experiences as well as anecdotes from friends. Did you feel like you couldn't connect to them? What do you think about friendships between women, what do you think about how and why men's friendships are similar / dissimilar?
