if it's just for holidays and you guys find it easier to schedule breaks, fine, do it for that reason, but if that's not the case, no reason to stretch it out.

And since not everyone gets the purge/not purge messages the same, give a 12 hour grace period when you end it for people to complete conversations and threads that were going on.

I will say that the purge week is very interesting and it's a great concept to have. I don't know any other subs which have the same thing.

It also shows you a) what people are really thinking b) how much reddit censors views that it doesn't agree with or doesn't think are "appropriate".
