Tinder's most recent tweet suggests that they are going to add a height verification for their app. Now overall my feelings on it are kinda mixed to positive, but I am unsure about the feelings of others and how this will go down.

Its well known that in general women like men that are taller than them, or at least within a similar height say within an inch (2 - 3 centimeters for everyone else). So the idea of having the height need to be verified may seem like a good idea, especially if there are women where height is a big deal to them.

The issue though comes at the double standard some people point out and is commonly memed; women's weight. The idea is that men typically aren't attracted to heavier women is fairly known and heavily criticized, to where it's memed that women get offended when he asks for weight after she asks for height. I mean I can see where a weight verification would be possibly body shaming, and would be harder to implement, but to many it can seem like a double standard move.
