Why do I keep hearing this same rhetoric from blue pillers?

What part of RP theory? The fact that some RP men have gotten laid doesn't prove that 20% of men get to have sex with all women while 80% of men are left out. Nor does it prove that women stop maturing at 18. It doesn't even prove that women are only attracted to assholes. All it proves is that sometimes assholes get laid.

The definition of 'succes' may differ.

TRP may think 'they had sex, thus it was a succes' while other people may think 'his RP-behaviour led to the break-up. Despite having sex the relationship failed'.

Also, TRP has a core of truth that is widely accepted outside of TRP as well (self-improvement, confidence and all that). However, they added quite a bit that makes TRP far from true in its entirety (women are like children/women have no honour etc.). Parts of RP working does not prove the entire theory is correct and working.

It doesn't mean that it is (all) true. But it's a pretty good indication that it isn't (all) false as well.

And that's a real sticking point for the people that find TRP repulsive.

I've never specifically argued that it doesn't work, but I've frequently argued that it's immoral and wrong, and I had a boyfriend who had valued traits.

I don't deny that RP theory can work and yes I'm talking about the psychological end of RP, and not the general "improve yourself" areas of it. But like with anything, if you go all out over the top with the red pill's script you're going to be playing the asshole.

I still get way more genuine satisfaction from a sweet beta though, and they are the ones worth pursuing.

A lot of those stories on TBP are people's experiences of being in abusive relationships. Here's the thing about emotional abuse: it works. If you find someone with a low self-esteem and then employ dread game, you can get them to date you and give you sex all the time, to cook for you, to make you the centre of their world. The problem with this is that it isn't healthy. The whole "young and stupid" isn't a convenient excuse, it's "I was in a bad place in my life and got manipulated."

So sure, TRP theory works to create emotionally abusive and manipulative relationships. If that's what you want congrats, but not really, because it makes you a shitbag.

I lurk BP from time to time. It's mostly unfunny satire but every once in a while one of the 'OMG can you believe this?!' Posts links me to something useful I missed on TRP.

The comments are usually great examples of hamstering and while I'm sometimes tempted to post something like "wait, you're missing the point...", I realize these people will never see the point and it doesn't matter anyway because TRP works.

TBP is a subreddit dedicated to satirizing TRP. I don't think many of those posts are true.

How are you distinguishing between these men getting dates with women because of TRP and these men getting dates with women despite of TRP?

Most of the time when I read descriptions of women who have dated men with RP tendencies, the general description seems to be along the lines of: "Something seemed off about him but he seemed like a good time. As the relationship progressed, those good elements faded away and everything became about maintaining a dominant frame, trying to force a traditional relationship setup, and ignoring my feelings as "shit tests", so I dumped him".

To me, the impression I get is that these men were largely successful for elements unrelated to TRP and the only role RP theory played was to cause the downfall of the relationship.

red pillers are there because they want to improve their lives. Many of them have angst, but whatever. They are there for a reason, to get to a goal, and it may be a phase.

blue pill, on the other hand, I have no fucking clue why it even exists. It doesn't have a goal besides to make fun of red pill. Red pill at least is dudes trying to change into something.

Blue pill will often deny ever falling for red pill antics. What a load of crock. If they didn't fall for red pill shit, why are blue pillers so mad? Simply because they have nothing better to do?? that's even WORSE
