I wonder sometimes - do people realize that everything is a product of evolution? Like, every little thing that is still alive? There's a reason body odor is pungent and offensive - and I can't speak for the exact mechanism of evolution that played a part in that, but it probably resembles the following: Humans grew bacteria and the like on their bodies, humans who found this scent pungent and offensive tended to stay cleaner for their own sakes, thus surviving while the dirty never-bathers who it didn't bother died off, now all humans alive today find the scent pungent and take it as a sign to clean themselves.

TL:DR Our noses naturally interpret the smell of body odor, for whatever reason, as a person being dirty, because that's what causes the damn smell.

Ya'll gonna think I'm gross but I refuse to wear deodorant too. I'm a thin person, rarely sweat and I shower often. I guess my scent is just that of my clothes which I keep clean. My gfs have also generally loved my natural scent (one to worrying degrees) so it's hard to be motivated to cover it up with chemicals.

There are definitely some people who MUST wear antiperspirant but don't demonize all of us who's bodies don't regularly pump out sweat and stank too.
