What do you have planned for Spring?

-Semi-annual purge & organize

-Try to get some sun and vitamin D now that it's warmer!

-Buy all the pretty dresses

-Enjoy the amazing food especially fruit that is now in season :) I can't wait until the cherries get to my grocery store!

I want to start a garden this spring, but the last couple I've tried didn't work well. We had a drought for a few summers in a row and last summer, when it wasn't dry, I didn't even try to grow one. I'm going to try this year, and maybe third time's a charm!

I'm looking forward to spring break from school. I plan on cleaning my house from top to bottom, scrubbing on my hands and knees and making it feel so much better.

Then clean and organize my craft room so it is usable. Of course once its clean I can put myself on a good cleaning regime for every day.

I've got to start going out for work now. Some businesses I can't email about buying ads, so I have to go out to them to sell.

I'm also going to hit the gym more often since it's warmer. I literally cannot make an excuse about it being too cold to make it in.

I'd also love to go camping or vacation somewhere when Spring Break hits, but money's tight, so I'm fine with just doing small things with C.

I am so excited to finally be able to lift outside again and do heavy sled pulls. I already pulled my at home bar and plates out today then cleaned them all up for the season.

Gardening. We do an indoor garden and have for the last two years, but this year I am also going to start outdoors. Also would like to work on small landscaping projects as well.

Disc golf and shooting!!! GRILLING! Working my dog out. Finally being able to drive fast cars again. I am pretty sure I'm too excited. This winter made me realize how dumb snow is unless you're inside viewing it.

clean out my wardrobe/buy some feminine spring clothes
take another yoga or meditation class (i've done both and liked them, but have not been able to get in the habit of going every week)
go for walks more often
continue to improve my cooking skills
start reading for pleasure again (i have been preoccupied with a large research project lately so i've mainly been reading psychology journal articles and some rp blogs)
finish the scarf i'm knitting for my boyfriend's birthday!

get pregnant (that should be number one)
sit outside on my porch
run outside
bike rides with the hubby after I get pregnant because he's not supposed to ride a bike before

Road trips and camping and visiting out of town friends! I'm really looking forward to a few long weekend trips and then maybe one longer vacation. I've also started some bigger spring cleaning projects like completely wiping down and sanitizing the fridge and cleaning windows and blinds, etc.

I'm so excited to go cruising around on my longboard again. I have to wait til it rains pretty good though to get all the sand off the roads. I'm going to try to keep all my skin intact this year.

I'm looking forward to more walks. I have a long lunch break, and used to just sit around being lazy, but have recently been taking walks. I'll usually walk a mile or so, and I've found it really helps my mood and energy levels. My job is fairly stressful, I'm more introverted, but I'm a very active and cheerful receptionist that encounters many people and it leaves me drained. I've asked my husband to take walks with me; we used to a few years ago and he'd take his camera and shoot photos--which is his favorite hobby :)

Also looking forward to spring cleaning! I'm starting to take better care of myself, losing weight and putting on makeup daily; I can't wait to get some new clothes and makeup for spring and summer. Looking forward to donating old clothes and just generally get the apartment sparkly.

BF and I are avid cyclists. We're really looking forward to temperatures above the 20/30s.

I'm trying to decide what I want to cook this Spring. I'm sadly waving goodbye to hearty winter stews and soups... They're some of my favorite things to make! I've just gotten my cast iron seasoned really really well, so I'm going to explore some possibilities with that.

At work, I could be rounding up a huge project and sending a paper off for publication. (: As my BF just emailed out a paper tonight, I'm super proud of him. (Go him!!!) We are in a similar field, so it's wonderful to share that interest as well.

I would love to get some (healthy) sun on my legs so I can stop wearing tights.

Start running again! I was put off this winter due to a back injury.

BF and I also have several concert trips planned, as well as a weekend getaway to visit with some old friends.

I want to start doing hill sprints outside, once some of the mud has gone away.

Also: find a job I actually want, spring clean the house, make cookies for the bf's workmates.

dig out and wear my favorite dresses and sandals
try my hand at some potted plants for my patio and see if I can keep them alive this time
enjoy some outdoor time such as long walks with my SO
park-hop (visiting multiple parks in one day) with my children
start taking photos again since it is now daylight longer, maybe even get some of my SO and me

Daily kayaking, hikes or bike rides. More sailing (without the full foulie getup) More camping. Knocking off some of those outdoor projects. Grilling! We had our first outdoor beer and BBQ on Tuesday.

And oh yeah, finding summer work between years at school.

So many things!

Spring Cleaning. So much cleaning, purging, and organizing. It's a natural Lenten thing for me.
Really hitting the job market hard and networking more. I'm determined to find a better job.
Running a half marathon in early May. I last ran one in 2009 with a time of 2:16:07. I'm hoping to beat it, but my training has been scattershot, so we will see.
Lose some weight and lift more weights.
Help my SO with his garden.
Find a house!

I feel tired just looking at this list!

Gotta start training for running the Color Run 5K in May, I'm such a terrible runner right now. Gonna try to write a play in April. Lots of long walks and spending time outside! I have a couple concerts/plays I'm looking forward to with the boyfriend. Aaaaand a bunch of cleaning/organizing, though I've already been in the ongoing process of deep-cleaning and organizing my house for awhile.

I can't wait for spring to actually come, we've had some sporadic warm days here but right now it's still in the 30s-40s. :(
