Tldr SM sucks electric company guys dick to keep the power on, calls him an asshole for letting her do it. You go grrls in the comments.

[–]1sailorJery50 points51 points52 points 11 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

you like how he should have just kept it on like she begged him? I mean she did beg.

[–][deleted] 51 points52 points53 points 11 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Right? Look at how the female mind works. It's HIS fault he wouldn't risk his job cause she doesn't have her shit together. It's HIS fault that she then made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Fuck her. Dude was risking his job. Women know they can control men, and she did it. The. She blames him.

There is soooo much help for single mothers. There are programs designed to prevent this very thing (it being shut off, not women being whores). It's not the meter dude's fault she's a fuck up. It's not hai fault she literally made him an offer he likely wasnt gonna refuse.

She propositioned him, not the other way around.

[–]The_Psychopath20 points21 points22 points 11 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

Couldn't refuse? Unless she was a 10/10, which she wasn't since wasn't married to a millionaire, the electric guy could have easily refused. She was just lucky that he had as little integrity as she did.

[–][deleted] 28 points29 points30 points 11 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

If you can turn down blow jobs, you are a greater man than I.

I've turned down sex (it's far more of an investment), but a blow job is all about me and the woman's attractiveness is almost irrelevant. If she's not gross, I'm going to enjoy it.

[–]PlanB_pedofile3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Lol I've turned down a blow job from a 5. Mainly because she was a skank and out clubbing with her way post wall skank mom.

Yea.... a mother daughter combo mix sounds good in text but a real boner killer in real life.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol. Cause they're always trashy. Never worth it. You know she's been using her daughter to get cock since she was a minor, so they're both beat up.

[–]myschadenfreude0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I'd turn it down. No way I'd lose my job for some head, no matter how lack luster. She can now say she was coerced, quid pro quo, and poof it's rape.

They are both dumb. She's made lots of bad decisions not helping her situation and he could end up un a similar situation from his dumb decision.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, I'm a tad broken. The risk is what would turn me on the most.

[–]WarmApfelPi-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Turning it down would have forced her to report him for offering to keep it on for sexual favors. He'd still be the asshole and definitely lose his job then.

[–]myschadenfreude0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She offered, not him. That said she could easily hamster the lie that she was the victim.

[–]WarmApfelPi0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's what I meant to say. Him turning it down

It was a dumb shit move on his part.

Tonight's Headline-

Male privilege once again takes advantage of suffering children and a financially helpless defeated damsel in distress S-I-N-G-L-E mother.

[–][deleted] 60 points61 points62 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Emotionally degrading the power company guy, then playing on his male lust is pretty gross. She's not the victim, he is. She could very well cost him his job, all because she made bad life choices and couldn't live with the consequences.

Feminists are fucking idiots.

[–][deleted] 80 points81 points82 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

No, the electric guy is a fucking idiot. Getting a blowjob from an (almost) homeless person who is obviously very poor and sketchy. Plus, she offered it. The people who trade sexual favours for things are sluts. No doubt about it.

Shouldn't have taken the blowjob, should've left. He's a fucking idiot. No ugly as shit MILF is worth your job.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points26 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Agreed. This is prostitution. She's trading bj's for electricity.

"I don't fuck wit broke bitches"

[–]chakravanti1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Make em get a job or a dickless BB first.

[–]KublerRossWasWrong19 points20 points21 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The people who trade sexual favours for things are sluts.

In actuality, people who trade sexual favors for things of value are prostitutes. Sluts do it for free. On the other hand, we are all paying for it, one way or another, so there is that.

The OP in that thread said she is working two jobs. I think she has three jobs, having recently picked up a part time position in the world's oldest profession.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're right, he shouldn't have. But if he isn't getting it often, what guy is going to turn down a blowjob during his shitty work shift? Playing on men's urge for sexual release is gross. She's not a slut, she's a whore, btw. Sluts at least enjoys themselves.

[–]kjuca3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Take the blowjob, leave the power off imo.

[–]Fulgidus0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

He was a gentleman, I would have shut it down anyway (after the bj) , hahahahaha

[–]WarmApfelPi1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nah, that's asking to lose your job for a blowjob. As a man, gotta keep your word right?

[–][deleted] 84 points85 points86 points 11 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

I had no choice. I'm a single mom of 3.

Oh god...here we go.

And to the asshole that let me do it instead of just not shutting my electric off like I begged him to, fuck you.

Feigning innocence, she's full of shit.

There's no reason to hate yourself. You did what you needed to do for your family.

Trading sexual favors for benefits? She's a hoe. I wonder if those 3 kids are from 3 different men...I wouldn't be surprised.

[–]liljenz036 points37 points38 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Yes she is a whore but desperate times call for desperate measures. Her well being of her family was on the line, so despite her Hamstering her innocence, her actions are completely understandable.

[–]1aguy0114 points15 points16 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If she wasn't a dumb whore she wouldn't be in that position. Unless she is a widow she fucked up her own life, and the life of her children.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

True shit. How do you end up single with 3 kids? I'm not making any excuses for her.

[–]kneeonbelly5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is the bottom line. She has an irrefutable history of bad decision-making. Namely having three kids yet no father in the picture. I'm so sure all three were accidental with a wonderful guy she knew she was so in love with, so they bit the bullet and tried to make it work but he ended up being a gigantic asshole who left her out of the blue for absolutely no reason, right?

It would be a miracle if these whelps were from the same father, and even if they were the fact that he is out of the picture speaks volumes about the type of guy he is. And I'm not saying he's evil, he just clearly doesn't want kids. Yet she had kids with him. Which speaks even more volumes about the kind of person she is. She went off her tingles and got fucked over. You make your bed, you lie in it. The victims here are the poor children who didn't ask for their whore mother to try to hold onto some alpha asshole by letting herself get pregnant with them.

Single motherhood: Where Whores Turn Into Heroes

[–]rocraidah1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She writes in the comments that the dad is heroin junky. Still speaks volumes about her even if he was sober during conception. Nobody accidentally becomes an intravenous junky, she should have made him for the loser he is before pushing out three kids with him.

[–]ilovemyself10123 points24 points25 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Her actions are yes, her intentions are for a family, she's being selfish for her family. I think majority of us understand that. But fucking seriously blaming the "guy" for allowing you to suck his cock because you didn't have your shit together(probably living above your means) is fucking gross. She should be a non-person

[–]liljenz018 points19 points20 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes she is on hyperhamstering mode to shift the blame onto the guy but awalt man. What I do respect though is holding on to two jobs to support her family and I understand her desperation when that is not enough. Her logic may be disgusting but I find it hard to hate her or call her a scum.

[–]ilovemyself1010 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I completely agree, I think the people who pull that shit tho are scum. The blame game. Taking responsibility for her own actions. But as you very well pointed out AWALT.

[–]Endorsed ContributorFLFTW164 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What's pathetic is that she could keep it entirely positive and take the credit for sacrificing her morals to support her family.

Instead she chooses to cast blame on the man for making his own economic decision, one that she proposed and which benefited her.

[–]Idontlikekarmawhores0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes i totally a agree, heck i ll go to hell and back for my family. I shall not throw at stone at this woman, for she have done something out of desperation not for herself but for her kids. I dont agree with you guys on this one, i hope she gets a good job so she can provide to her kids.

Just wait for part 2 where she then cries rape, saying he raped her by her offering to blow him and him not refusing. But wait it gets better. She then sues him for child support.

[–]vox_veritas4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

But wait it gets better. She then sues him for child support.

What are you even talking about?

[–]RobNine0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

There have been cases in the past where women will sue Boyfriends or men in their life for child support. I remember one lady had tried to sue the male baby sitter for it.

[–]vox_veritas3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Source please. I'm a divorce lawyer and I see people spouting this off on reddit all the time. I would love to see an actual example of this happening and a court requiring it to continue.

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Aren't there cases where the husband is cuckolded, doesn't know it, probably signs the birth certificate at the hospital, then a few years later suspects something is wrong? Court won't order the paternity test, or ignores the result and forces him to continue paying?

As if the nonbiological father adopted the child when he didn't formally do so (because he was fooled as to paternity at the beginning.)

[–]RobNine0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Indeed, I've not seen a successful case of this happening, but the fear you'll experience during a vulnerable time is worrisome. Must really throw one off balance.

[–]omg_cats -1 points-1 points-1 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

This is the only case you need to know:

Hermesmann v. Seyer (State ex rel. Hermesmann v. Seyer 847 P.2d 1273 (Kan. 1993)) was a precedent-setting Kansas, United States case in which Colleen Hermesmann successfully argued that a woman is entitled to sue the father of her child for child support even if conception occurred as a result of a criminal act committed by the woman.[1][2] The case was brought in her name by the then Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services.

[–]vox_veritas1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago* [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

That case isn't relevant. In Hermesmann, it is undisputed that the man is the biological father of the child. I'm asking about cases where the woman has successfully petitioned the court to make a man who is not the child's biological father (and also not married to the woman) liable for child support.

I'm not interested in debating whether he should still be liable for support.

Edit: You should also be aware that the criminal act committed by the mother of the child was not forcible sexual assault, rape, etc. The mother was 17 and the father was 13 when the child was born. The mother was charged with having a sexual relationship with a person under the age of 16.

Again, I'm not interested in arguing whether the outcome was wrong or right, but I think it's important to note (if others want to argue about it) that there doesn't seem to be any debate that the sexual relationship was consensual -- notwithstanding the fact that the father was technically a child (also not interested in arguing about whether a child can ever give "consent").

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The relationship was not consensual because a 13 year old boy can't consent. I am not a divorce lawyer but that idea has been drilled into my head.

Or is only girls who cannot consent, and boys are assumed to consent? Anyway as I recall, one does not get to that issue because there's a specific law in that jurisdiction for exactly that situation, requiring the boy to pay. Which I think does not apply if the genders are reversed (that's my impression.) Maybe it's just about noncustodial parents, who of course end up being boys. If it were a girl, the statutory rapist man would not have custody.

(They wrote a law specifically about support of children in the custody of a statutory rapist! If that isn't anti-male legislation I don't know what is!)

To me the outcome is outrageously wrong, and you are splitting hairs as to the type of rape that occurred. I understand that the text of the law was followed. But I am impressed in a negative way that you are making some argument that it's justified. This is a "shit happens" situation and if the state has to support the child, the state has to do it. The boy should never be hooked into it.

And I understand that the case is separate from the issues in this thread about the woman getting her power on for giving a blowjob.

[–]vox_veritas0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not sure what you're arguing with me about. I actually agree with your comment for the most part.

I'm not "splitting hairs", because I specifically said I wasn't going to engage in that discussion. The reason for that is the consent issue is not relevant to the actual issue we were discussing -- i.e., having a non-biological father pay child support. The case is not relevant to the issue being discussed.

Edit:

But I am impressed in a negative way that you are making some argument that it's justified.

I didn't.

Do lawyers know how to use google?

[–]vox_veritas1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

Cool.

Did you watch the end of the video? The court dropped its support request and vacated the arrearages. That "article" doesn't really support your position at all.

That type of paternity law isn't uncommon. A child born during a marriage (which is what happened to the first guy in the video) is presumed to be a "child of the marriage" and if the parents separate or are divorced, then the non-custodial parent (usually the father) is going to be on the hook for support by virtue of that presumption. However, that presumption is relatively easily rebutted, especially when the presume father knows he isn't the father.

I have been involved in three cases like that. Unfortunately for me, each time I was representing the wife. It sucks, because you have to end up joining the putative biological father (if the woman even knows who it is) as a third-party defendant to the divorce/custody case and it creates quite a clusterfuck.

Hmmmm, wheres the bad-boy father in all this, I wonder?

[–]5 Endorsed ContributorStayinghereforreal49 points50 points51 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Fathers. Plural. Anyone doubt it?

Still, feel bad for the kids. Not their fault. And I can even have a measure of empathy for her; learning the hard way is something we all eventually do, and I don't wish it on too many people.

[–]jimpz9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ummm... i don't think she's learning at all.

[–]Glenbert3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Re: feeling badfor thekids... I've more recently come to the conclusion that my empathy is better spent elsewhere than on the spawn of defective people.

Jesus, i thought i was past the anger phase.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The truth is that while you may feel bad for the kids, they possess the same genes as the shit parents you see raising them. While bad parenting is setting them up for failure the kids are already hard-coded for it. Granted, coding doesn't always result in expression of traits - the odds are just not in their favor.

  • no money

  • no job

  • one kid that you can barely feed

conclusion: have two more kids

[–]2alisonstone11 points12 points13 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

More kids = more welfare. One of my relatives basically made a living buying shitty homes in low-income areas, fixing them up, and then renting them out to people on Section 8 government assistance. The government pays the rent, so there is zero chance of default. He rented to a lot of single mothers because they were the ones that are most likely to get assistance. Often, the father is actually still around, but she claims she doesn't know who the father is so she can get welfare. He says he's even heard of social workers telling single mothers "well, if you pop another kid out, then the government will cover you for 18 more years" when she asks how she is going to survive after her kid turns 18.

And even on welfare, they live fine. Sure they can't have the nicest brand name stuff, but they basically cannot suffer unless they sell their food stamps and use it to buy drugs and booze. Unless she doesn't know that such government programs exist, she is not starving and her kids are not freezing to death. Like most single mothers, they play victim and try to pull your heartstrings. Their pain is in having very low social status. Go to any developing or emerging nation and the average person there has a lower standard of living.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I've read that making a business of Section 8 receivers is in no way a sound investment (the worst of the worst possible tenants and extreme difficulty getting them the fuck out). For anyone thinking of starting such a practice.

[–]2alisonstone2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The payments are pretty much guaranteed by the government, the main problem is that a lot of them are mentally ill, have criminal records, etc. Basically, you have to have thick skin and be able to deal with the worse of the worse. The secret is in screening the potential renters. Certain types of immigrants (ex: Asians, certain Africans, etc) have low crime rates and are generally well behaved. My relative specifically placed advertisements to those communities (e.g. in ethnic newspapers, etc). He is also a huge guy who can pass as a mob enforcer. It certainly isn't a great businesses, but it worked for him. It's not just an investment, it is a full time job. If people have money to invest, I'd recommend them to put it into the stock/bond market instead. It takes a very special skill to deal with poor people.

[–]Skiffbug16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

C'mon guys, let's circlejerk less on unfounded conclusions.

There is enough to point at without making shit up. You have no idea how she got where she is, and how it may have happened.

[–]GilesDMT5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Either way, she knew full well how hard it is to raise a child from the first. Let alone two.

Then she had another.

It seems like the only thing she learned is to offer oral first.

[–]Dark_Shroud2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

At one point when asked where the father was she said last time she heard he was on heroin.

So while I think all 3 kids are from the same guy she still fucked up and is already getting major benefits from the government. She still just can't afford anything from being a fuck up.

I'm poor myself right now. Part of the way I make money is from crypto currencies like Bitcoins and I collect cans to pay for gas. The differences are I know my situation is my own fault & I haven't been dumb enough to get any women pregnant.

[–]Tom_The_Human2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, she could have had all her shit together, then one day the father died and everything somehow fell apart in ways that were completely unforeseeable and not her fault...

probably not though.

Or maybe the guy was a rock star making millions until he got sucked into heroin.

There are a million different scenarios in which having 3 kids was not a mistake, but life took a bad turn.

There's no point in trying to make things look worst by making shit up. Stick with what you know, and run with that...

Strung out on heroin according to her which is not overly surprising. If there was any hope of getting money out of the guy, you know the courts would be doing it for her. She claims there's no family "here" to fall back on. Her kids are 13, 8 and 6.

Here's my guess: teen mom gets knocked up by HS boyfriend. Stays with the guy, they move for one or both of them to go to university. University ends, they "start their life together" around where they went to school not where they grew up. They have kid # 2 and 3 as the father spirals into drug abuse. Her hamstering that the kids will keep him clean or some other BS the whole way down. He eventually abandons ship/gets kicked out. Her parents/family are so pissed off with her for staying with the father that they won't offer help or she's got too much pride to ask.

Now, she's a single mom with three kids working retail because she never bothered to acquire any skills/useful knowledge. Flat broke and hitting the wall hard (her eldest is 13; she's got to be close to 30 if not older). Thus, the slide into prostitution begins. Hey, it's the only skill she has.

[–]BrunoOh44 points45 points46 points 11 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

This is why you don't spawn three kids if you're not absolutely certain you can support them.

[–]Hydris16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I just got into an argument the other day on reddit because people were saying everyone should recieve free daycare and it's everyone's duty to help raise other peoples children. They were so offended that I said their kids are their responsibility to raise and support. As if I somehow owed it to them.

I'm for free childcare and such, even though it disgusts me, because the longterm effects on society will be better. Give the little bastards a fighting chance now for $300/wk daycare for a few years, or be spending thousands of dollars a week on future welfare services, incarcerations, and court time....

[–]2comment2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If women were responsible for their children, they'd be picking more stable men. Enabling them open their legs and to fuck fuck ups isn't the answer either, because those kids statistically go into crime and get into trouble without a father regardless of government help.

It's been convincingly argued that welfare destroyed the black family. 50-60 years ago.

If a woman brings kids into the world she can't care for, she really should have them taken away, and take birth control or face jail time or something.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In this case though, it is a woman AND man issue. It isn't enabling them, but it is still going to happen unless eugenics is implemented. It is simple as that unfortunately, and it will never happen.

The thing is, there are programs for single mothers. I mean, single have the best chance of getting help with bills. Of course, working two jobs and raising three kids alone is going to fry your brain. She's clearly not thinking clearly. She needs a vacation and a social worker to get her on track.

She does deserve sympathy for the shit she got herself into. People often can't see they've fucked up until it's too late, or they're in denial.

Oh lord. She offered and she is mad that he took her up on it. One of my favorite BSG quotes is "you make your choices and you live with them. And in end you are those choices." Seriously the biggest step to maturity is realizing this. If you choose to suck a guys dick for your power bill you are a whore. No one held a gun to your head. There are a ton of programs out there for single moms. Churches that would be glad to help. But she's too proud. Easier to suck a mans dick and them hamster away the guilt. I don't like a lot of the things that happened in my life but ultimately I choose how to deal with them. Even things out of your control you can still control your reaction to them.

Think about this. 3 kids single mom low income. She's on food stamps, most likely free cell phone, probably free computer (at least my state has a program). She leaches wifi from the neighbor. Her only bill is the power....where the fuck is the money going then lol.

The entitlement generation can't have it's cake and eat it too forever. Eventually fiat currency and cheap labor from china will collapse and the gravy train all of these women that pop out babies have been living on will come crashing down. It's only a matter of time.

There are a ton of programs out there for single moms. Churches that would be glad to help. But she's too proud. Easier to suck a mans dick and them hamster away the guilt.

You need to read further down: she's not "too proud", she's receiving all kinds of "assistance" -- basically she doesn't have a clue how to manage the money that flows through her hands.

Think about this. 3 kids single mom low income. She's on food stamps, most likely free cell phone, probably free computer (at least my state has a program). She leaches wifi from the neighbor. Her only bill is the power....where the fuck is the money going then lol.

Dozens of things that she blows it on because "she deserves a break" -- you'd be surprised how these types can (and do) squander money; a shitload of makeup, not to mention clothes & shoes (for herself) plus purportedly "for the kids" (which are really more about the mom's ego) they get dressed in fashionable new/"designer" clothes from Targzey (have to have "brand new" stuff for the start of the school year -- and it CANNOT be just clean/nice stuff, or off of a clearance rack -- Oh noes... it has to be stylish: official Nike/NFL logo stuff, etc). Plus can pretty much guarantee you that she has cable and/or gameboxes, etc (they're the babysitters), and of course she has a (recent model) smartphone -- full unlimited multi-year contract.

And then when it comes to the necessities... things like dinner, well most often she's probably getting the LEAST value (i.e. most "convenience") from the food-stamp purchases: take & bake pizzas, frozen dinners or deli food, plus LOTS of soda/juices {brand name, Pepsi/Coke in individual cans/single serving boxes} plus chips & cookies (ALWAYS brand names of course: just because she's poor, doesn't mean her kids don't DESERVE the very "best" you know! plus -- like with the soda -- just about everything is purchased in the smallest most-expensive package sizes: because buying in bulk would mean planning ahead/having a smaller array of choices, etc.)

[–]SWABteam 13 points13 points13 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

That's even worse. But it's a mans fault she had to suck dick to keep the power on. The funny part is you have to basically not pay them for months on end to actually get it shut off. Hell in my state for 1/4 of the year in winter it's illegal for them to. You have to be a dumbass to get your power shut off, not poor.

A lot of people would criticize you for either bullshitting or not being empathetic. But I can tell you , you are spot on. I can see it between my mother and my sister. Both single mothers. My mother, since my father left when I was 9 (they were actually married) and my sister who dropped out of school, took heaps of drugs , drank which a different fella every few months. Only "settling" down in her early 30s

I wore the same uniform for years, all my books were second hand. We got one holiday a year. No significant presents(Jehovahs witness). My mother didnt drink. Didnt have a car. I think the only good thing is my mother and sister cooked from scratch.

My mother died and although I will buy my nephew a birthday present, usually extravagant. I wont give my sister a penny (again). Its her situation and she did everything to herself.

When my mother was funding her, because my mother actually managed to save. She would continuously be buying boots, drink a bottle of wine every night. But when my mother got cancer suddenly my sister became a bit more frugal.

I straight up said to her, I have no obligation towards her buying boots. Anything time she complains about money, I say that she has to stop X.

I never understood the single mother attitude of having to buy a new uniform ever year. You are not in a situation to be keeping up with the Jones', so why are you at it? I am fairly well to do now. But I buy shoes until they wear out. I have fashionable clothes. But knowing the pareto principal, I am only going to be wearing 20% , 80% of the time. So I cut down on my wardrobe.

Another thing my sister would do, is there would be government programs. And she would have excuses like, "I can't cope with filling out those kinds of forms", "they expect you to have this and that ready", "I have to go down to that place with all those people"

Cry me a fucking river.

Well, I know I'm not bullshitting, because I've seen the phenom personally on dozens of occasions -- various cousins, sisters of friends, etc -- and moreover, I have only VERY rarely seen a "single mom" who DIDN'T fit the type.

Plus, I've heard many of these women admit that getting pregnant was no "accident" -- it was done intentionally (albeit the "plan" didn't necessarily work out the way they had expected it to).

You are not in a situation to be keeping up with the Jones'

Ah, but as I noted in a reply to another comment -- they rationalize that they think/believe they DO have to "keep up with the Joneses" (i.e. other women) -- their entire "stock in trade" is generally their appearance (so clothing is their "toolkit", their marketing/image advertising expense).

Now to be fair... I've also known quite a number of MEN (boys) who are just as idiotic (and whiny deadbeats) when it comes to their finances -- but they tend to be a bit rarer, and they also tend to "figure it out" in fairly short order (unless their is someone -- or some trust fund -- "enabling" them).

Exactly, thus my lack of empathy for that situation.

I'd bet the reason for the electrician BJ is the latest Alpha flameout caught her short of cash, meanwhile the 3 kids are more than likely not stupid..they know what is going on.

I'd bet the reason for the electrician BJ is the latest Alpha flameout caught her short of cash

IIRC, she claims "car problems" -- entirely unpredictable* car problems.

*As I explained in another comment, whenever a woman (especially a single mom) talks about some "unpredictable/crisis" -- you can be pretty sure that it was in fact entirely predictable.

meanwhile the 3 kids are more than likely not stupid..they know what is going on.

Well, yeah and no... they may realize she is lying about not having had sufficient cash for food or utilities and such -- but on the other hand, having probably never experienced life in another (properly run) household, they have no standard by which to make that judgement -- and in fact most likely they will grow up emulating the same set of (narcissistic) behavior.

And I rather doubt that the electrician is the first casual "BJ" they would be aware of their "mommy" doing -- typically the door on those homes (and especially the one to mommy's bedroom) may as well be a powered rotating one.

There are a LOT (and I mean a lot in terms of %, not merely numbers) of young guys who are essentially "whiny women" in regards to how irresponsible they are about bills/money, etc -- and the vast majority of them come from single-mother households like this gal.

And THAT is how the cycle repeats (and expands).

Yup... fairly common. And actually most of them wreck cars not because they fail to change the oil, but because they end up running the car with NO oil at all, and seizing up the engine.

Completely unrelated to the topic at hand, but it may be informational or entertaining for some:

At the beginning of 2009, I was searching high and low for good places to invest the gains realized on the way down in the market. My wife had asked me to accompany her on a shopping trip, which I did as I had nothing else going on that day.

We were sitting in the food court of a rather upscale shopping center, chatting about various subjects. It occurred to me that there were a lot of overweight, obviously not high-end women also sitting in the food court.

What struck me was that virtually all of these women had bags upon bags from Victoria Secret and high end department stores. I asked my wife, "Why do you suppose they all have those pink bags?" Her response was something along the lines of, "When times get tough, a woman still wants to feel beautiful. They probably treated themselves to new lingerie and makeup."

When we returned home, I did some research. Following that, I placed several buy orders for a number of cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies, the holding company that owns Victoria Secret (VF? I cannot recall any longer) and a couple of other related investments. I no longer hold those positions, but when I got out I made a killing.

I felt kind of bad, at the time, for capitalizing on the propensity of people who don't really have the money to buy overpriced extravagances. But, what else can you do?

In an attempt to bring this back around to "red pill thinking," people are going to do what people are going to do. Just as those of you looking to engage with women in the sexual marketplace, once you accept that certain behaviors and mindsets prevail and are generally unwavering, you can use that awareness to your advantage in many other areas of your life.

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Her response was something along the lines of, "When times get tough, a woman still wants to feel beautiful. They probably treated themselves to new lingerie and makeup."

This is a rather fairly well known phenom, often called the "Lipstick Index", or sometimes the "Leading Lipstick Indicator" -- and while lipstick, per se is not really all that reliable -- the general fact that women will/do spend money "on luxuries for themselves" when times get tough (either in the larger economy, or more likely as things get "tight" financially in their own household) is an age-old phenom.

And I suppose it depends on your perspective -- to the hamster mind, I am certain that taking money out of your kids mouths and spending it on "new lingerie and makeup" is easily rationalized as akin to a "marketing/image advertising" expense... these are the tools with which women ply their trade -- hoping to use them to entice a man with money (or maybe to trick the electric company guy into -- temporarily -- not shutting off the power).

Another similar "down economy" thing is that the overall aggregate sales (especially in terms of quantity, if not necessarily total dollars) of beer, wine and booze (any/all forms of alcohol) also tend to increase -- especially the low end stuff (i.e. the goal being apparently to drown ones sorrows, and/or get drunk as a means of alleviating anxiety -- rather than to buy "exotic/status" drinks).

I felt kind of bad, at the time, for capitalizing on the propensity of people who don't really have the money to buy overpriced extravagances. But, what else can you do?

Why? You're not holding a gun to their head nor in any other way are you forcing them to squander the money on such... you're simply recognizing a pattern of behavior that people are/will engage in regardless of what you do.

In an attempt to bring this back around to "red pill thinking," people are going to do what people are going to do.

Exactly.

I saw this with my mom. She was buying shut left and right from QVC when her and my father were having money problems cause my brothers steal all my parents money (drugs and my dad is kind of oblivious to the financial situation). It's a way of self medicating. It's like drinking or using drugs.

It's sad, and honestly I feel for these people. I think anyone in her situation needs a social worker helping then out with this shit.

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago* (8 children) | Copy Link

I think anyone in her situation needs a social worker helping then out with this shit.

Except that these days, many of the so called "social workers" are all too often just the virtual twins of these creatures themselves.

Ever listen to or read a "rant" from a social worker? Most of them sound very much like this gal -- everything (and I do mean everything) is an "unpredictable" crisis* (translation: they are never prepared, and nothing that goes wrong is ever their fault) -- they invariably claim that they are totally "overwhelmed" with their hugely unbearable case loads, and then they use that (along with a complaint about not being "paid well enough" for all of their work) makes them so tired that it is very difficult to manage their own homes/households (commonly single mother with multiple kids)... IOW they themselves resort to (and then "suffer from") the same things this single mother does.

* And by "unpredictable" they of course are referring to things that are in fact ENTIRELY predictable (everything from a utility being cut-off {that's what all those warning notices and bills were about, DUH}, to balding & then "flat/blown-out" tires on cars {hey they only last so long, and the "wear" tends to be obvious}, to of course the original "unpredictable" thing... when they "got pregnant") but which they simply believe will "magically" not happen to them -- their whole life follows this pattern: they cannot seem to link cause & effect in a logical fashion.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I have to admit, I don't know much about the type of people who become social workers.

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

In my state it is basically "single mothers" -- the state/federal government pay for them to go to the local community college, and just about the only degrees they can possibly obtain are the lower "associates" degrees or certificates in nursing, therapy, so called "public health" & food-pyramid "nutrition", or psychology and ... social work.

Then once they graduate, well who is going to hire someone with those degrees? (Especially obtained from the local community college or tech school?) You got it... the government: which then hires them on -- as social workers, child protection case workers, foster care system supervisors, corrections probation officers, etc -- to ostensibly help prevent people very much like themselves from being a "burden" to society, but invariably what happens (in essence) is that they teach others how to take advantage of the system in the same ways they did (see, you too can be a "success"). Thus the cycle continues.

EDIT: here's a link to a recent post (on Reddit itself) with a social worker describing their "day" (note the poor management of their own life -- and the idea that they are somehow "overworked" even though they really didn't do much of anything that would qualify as "work"). Here's another, this one decrying the "frustrations" as well as the way their days are filled with inanities (meetings, busywork, most of which accomplish little or nothing and are done in rather sloppy/careless manners -- i.e. which creates yet MORE such "work").

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

That probably explains why CPS are so fucking incompetent in my city. They let kids starve to death from negligence.

In most major American cities, many of the CPS "case workers" are themselves often "foster parents" -- and then the majority are/were single mothers as well (i.e. but by becoming "foster" parents, well it's a way to get additional checks, along with various tax credits/deductions and so on) -- the system is essentially self-perpetuating. (IOW, the proverbial inmates run the asylum.)

And yes... it is incredibly disgusting. Which of course drives away anyone who is essentially "sane" or level headed -- they often cannot stand to continue to be a part of such a system... which is why it ends up just being the "dregs" (and then, since most promotion in government jobs is by seniority...)

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Two women at my work were foster parents. I could tell they were just doing it for the money, and neither one should have been in authority over anyone let alone children. Both have been fired for integrity failings, one accessed an unauthorized information (because she was simply being nosey) and the other was just rude and ignorant and lazy and eventually pissed off someone inportant enough times they could fire her (it's very difficult to get fired from my employer -- company policy is pretty lenient).

[–]1thrownaway_MGTOW2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I could tell they were just doing it for the money

The system prefers people like that.

Why? Because if you have someone who is financially secure, well they tend to be fairly confident, and savvy about legal & health & psychology things as well -- and THAT kind of person is not going to think well or be very cooperative with (much less obedient to) the run of the mill corrupt & incompetent CPS workers/managers -- IOW they will likely cause "problems" for the system.

So, the CPS workers generally do whatever they can to drive such types away.

Meanwhile, the "families" that are in it mainly for the cash -- well they are generally NOT going to cause problems for the people who control that cash flow. And moreover, the system definitely prefers households that are absent a strong (i.e. confident) man... which is why increasingly foster "families" are single mom headed families.

Even though ALL of the data incontrovertibly shows that (from ALL perspectives, everything from nutrition & health to stress & violence) those are the worst possible homes for children.

As well as the child's future possibility of ending up in prison.

It's short of an inevitability... but it is more than a possibility... it's a fairly significant probability.

The lion's share of inmates are from "single mom" homes; the data are pretty irrefutable on that. And the rate gets ridiculously high when you include inmates who lived in a "single mom" household for even PART of their childhood/youth.

And in the case of foster kids, the deck is already stacked against them -- the recent propensity for sticking them in single-mom foster homes just makes the odds even worse.

Maybe the judges are way ahead of us here, knowing that single moms have dick-sucking opportunities to support their kids that we lack.

Depends on how desperate the electric guy was.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

or on his erm... preferences

A single father would (probably) be working his ass off to provide. Whether this be moving the family to north, or whatever.

[–]Dark_Shroud9 points10 points11 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Four years ago my ex-brother in law called us up asking if I still had my wood pile. A friend of his needed help. My mother whom I care for told him yes and he could help himself since she knew I was ok with sell or giving it away under certain situations.

Guy's wife left him with the kids but fucked him over good financially, ran up debt and took off with the savings. It was getting cold now and he couldn't pay his gas bill. Lucky for him he had an old house with fire places in every bedroom.

This guy took the time to ask around if anyone knew where he could get wood for free or super cheap. So I let him have two months worth of fire wood for free.

Most guys will find a way to get shit done. The average women try to find someone to do shit for them.

I can only imagine what's going to happen once the electric bill goes late a second time.

[–]Stormhammer8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I got a huge LOL to her telling the electric guy fuck you for letting her blow him instead of just not turning off the electicity like she begged him because you know, it's his fucking job.

A typical single mom working HARD to maintain her home and family. Poor girl. Maybe we should have a government program or something for people like her.

Oh

[–]scubar 15 points16 points17 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Of course he's an "asshole" for letting her do it.... *hamster wheel spins

She's an asshole for bringing kids she can't afford into this world and it sickens me to think that some tiny fraction of my tax dollar is going to support her in some way.

[–]The_Psychopath4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It was her fucking choice. Although the electric guy should have told her to fuck off when she offered and cut off the power. She's lucky he was as scummy as her.

[–]icallmyselfmonster4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She didn't say she was working a full time job. Just 2 jobs. Could be 2 hours a week to 60. I have worked 60 hour weeks repeatedly and nobody was sympathetic to me.

People get themselves into bad situations, I am sure there were a long string of "mistakes" in life that "weren't" hers.

I fucking hated school. I was bullied remorselessly, growing up a Jehovahs Witness I was basically forbidden to go to University. But you know I fucking stuck it out, because I didn't want other people bad influence affecting the outcome of my life.

[–]CrimsonIgloo2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Commendation for giving a blowjob.

Seen it all now.

[–]1raceAround1264 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

In b4 she sues the power company because now all of a sudden she's been raped...

[–]Zergrushin1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't think she's that smart.

[–]1raceAround1261 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't worry. One of her fellow rape criers will be along shortly to advise her properly on what she should do next.

Better call Saul...

If this woman lives in a rich western country she's probably heavily subsidized by the government. Why does she have to blow the electrician? I could see it if she lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but not in a country where there are lots of social assistance options specifically for single mothers.

[–]_orion1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Where does she get off calling this guy an asshole, she offered whose gonna say no?

[–]Ryohazukisan3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a sad situation our society is in.

[–]j-pHil4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I feel so disgusting and I hate myself more than I ever thought possible.

He is a beta below her standards. If the dude was alpha she woulda gave it all up and been glad about it.

[–]1cover201 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So is this similar to the stories we hear of guys who get out of friendzone long enough to get a fuck, then the woman hates them afterward because she remembers the guy was classified ad friendzone not fuckzone?

[–]slcjosh3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Gotta love the hamster effect. You go girl, you sucked that dick for your family! No one once mentions, "Why is your life so fucking fucked up you have to blow dudes to keep your power on. What choices did you make that got you here?"

Almost 100% guarantee there is an expensive habit underlying there as to why she works 2 jobs and cant provide power for her family.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She'll prolly get someone telling her to open a lawsuit against this guy or his company soon, and will probably win... the worlds oldest profession just keeps getting more and more profitable.

[–]AssedM 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not only is she a whore, shes a stupid one. She whored herself out for free basically just to buy a little more time. She should have just let them turn of the lights, whored herself out for actual money to pay the entire bill to get out of debt. All she did was have the lights left on for a little longer while still remaining in debt to the company...

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think you have to be fairly hot to make a living at it, at least an 8. Competition is a lot stiffer than it was in better economic times.

[–]goofproofacorn2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So is she going to suck every guy off they send?? There will another person there to turn off the power a week. She didn't think about the long term feasibility of this plan.

[–]squishles2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

In fact, I was kind of hoping for it.

Yes she's a ho. Not really that bothered, she's having fun getting off on it.

Exhibition thing, she has a safe anonymous audience. =/

She just got validation her blow jobs are worth an electric bill, the risk of losing his job, and in an extreme case jail.

[–]1spicy_fries6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I can't help but feel callous. How many betabucks did she pass up to spawn three alpha turds?

[–]redpilldude1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

-Single mom

-3 kids

-Getting reduced utilities

-Getting government assistance

-Working 2 jobs

-Can't afford electric bill, but spends money on internet access so that she can post on Reddit

...Seems legit

[–]1 Endorsed Contributormordanus1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And to the asshole that let me do it instead of just not shutting my electric off like I begged him to, fuck you.

Yeah... It's his fault that you can't pay. It's his responsibility to fix your problems with nothing in return.

The guy could lose his job by not turning her power off. I doubt he was the one that came up with the method of payment either and he's the bad guy somehow.

I also like how the female mentality comes out in that sentence. She takes zero accountability for her actions by saying "Let me do it" as if it was all his bad that she's a whore. Women have no accountability or shame.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I paid the comcast guy 50 bucks to give me free cable. I'm not looking for validation though.

[–]slippyweasel1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Interesting. My father, when confronted with the city shutting off his hot water when he had two small children, calmly just told the city he would go on national news and cry and tell his story. They kept his utilities on. Guess once a blowjob popped into mind, other creative solutions just couldn't manifest.

[–]Workchoices1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well look on the bright side. That tired hardworking man knows he can get his dicked sucked whenever he wants now. Just has to rock up and claim he is turning off the electricity.

She doesn't want to accept who she is. It's harder to explain away being a whore whne you literally blew a guy for something in return.

The problem is, her bill isn't paid. It wasn't even a smart decision. It's literally just another poor decision in her life. She's the problem. Not some dude who gave into a biological urge.

That's exactly it. She's not retarded (well, I don't think), so she knows what she did. She said she was disgusted.

[–]joaquim563 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why is she having children if she can't afford them?

[–]1oldredder0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

aw, but my heart and soul pang for the pain of m'lady and her dozen defenceless younglings!

[–]Scorpionwins230 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The banner add above the title - Zoosk, meet single moms.

[–]Ralt 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's just too bad she has to justify it and make her hate herself. That's fucking gangster, doing what you need to do to get what you need to live. I respect the fuck out of anyone who will do whatever is necessary and utilize their skills like weapons.

It certainly does serve as a marvelous warning for those white knighting, or just plain old lowering their standards for a single mom as well though.

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Another example where the guy isn't nice and gets the sexual experience.

How many think she would do it again if he comes back to her house? I think she might do it again even if there's no money on the line. Though that would be more likely if they had penis in vagina sex, since that stimulates bonding in the female.

[–]1cover200 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She mainly proposed sucking his dick because he expected him to be guilted into giving her what she wants without it. I doubt she thought up this strategy on the spot. It has probably succeeded with men before.

And if there's one thing we've learned, it's that if a guy gives what she wants, he goes permanently into friendzone. She will have no respect for him.

Guys, treat conversations with a woman objectively. This guy is now hated, but he's also respected by the woman.

[–]BedlamStatesman0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Had she just done what she had to do to keep the power on, I would have respected her for it. But now she has to go and assign some kind of stigma to it, like she's dirty for doing what she did. She feels like she has to justify what she did, and that alone devalues the nature of the Bite-The-Bullet action she pulled. The hamstering blows away (no pun intended) any respect I would have had for the woman for doing what had to be done to ensure her kids had power. The blowjob was a transaction, plain and simple. He got what he wanted, she paid what she offered to get what she wanted, and both should have left happy, assuming all sides of the agreement were followed accordingly.

She had kids to take care of. Granted, I'm wondering how in the world she messed up enough times to have 3 different kids and still not have a reasonable mate, but that's none of my business. Fact remains, she had little ones to take care of, and she did what she had to do to ensure they were provided for. We've all done things we would rather not have to. But at least most of us understand the nature of our situation and what the situation demanded of us at the time.

You don't find TRP'ers trying to claim "I was taken advantage of..." by a transaction that was followed as agreed upon.

G'day, how do I get a job as a utilities debt collector? Strayacarnt here.

[–]HalfAsianBob1 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

She should have just blown the father(s) of her children or just been a decent respectable wife to the guys who knocked her up and this wouldn't be an issue. She would have given some guy good motivation to work to pay her bills.

But somehow I'm guessing that she picked the most aloof, thuggish alpha guys to knock her up that she could find… you know, the kind that you just KNOW they won't stick around.

[–]symko-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

He's a better man, than I am. I would have gotten the blowjob, then cut the power.

[–]Newdist21 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're both idiots, to be honest.

All you fucking angry jackasses in here shut the fuck up.

Okay, not at the feminists. Go fuckin kill that shit.

But stop talking shit about her doing what she's doing: keeping hard working betas working.

It's what she's good at and for and society needs that kind of thing. Don't stick your dick in crazy but this is fine. Just kill the fucking feminists who might actually ruin that shit for him.
