Most guys find out that their pecker just wakes up more for less quality girls than usually. Most of them are BPillers that have little to none experience on dating

I think NoFap is great because it's effects on your mind rather than only on your sexuality, also there is a lot of deviant social conduct contributed by porn. I mean it's cool if you aspire to have a threesome, but it's kind of odd if your idea of normal male sexuality is being fucked in the ass by a fat old guy with a horse mask.

I've noted that is a lot of connection between being depressed and watching porn, I usually tend to have more urges when I'm depressed. Also I usually can't keep my frame when I'm using porn regularly, I'm a lot more anxious and my feelings affect me a lot more. Last but not least, I notice that I'm much more active when I'm not regularly using porn, I tend to be a lot more agressive ( and I don't mean bitchy), and assertive than usually.

The anti-porn movement is a feminist driven movement trying to convince you that it's actually possible to over-stimulate sexually and porn is the cause of it.

There's nothing wrong with fapping in moderation like anything else. People praising the virtues of nofap are just expressing satisfaction with success of their exertion of willpower, and I suspect it would be a similar satisfaction as if they had been successful at changing their diet or keeping a gym routine. (except those will have real life effects).

As an 18 year old, I did a no-fap challenge of around 235 days from April to December last year, and I shall provide some insight. The challenge changed me as a person. I was pedestalizing women to a certain degree and the challenge became the start of my path to TRP. I had an idea what TRP but I didn't frequent it until a friend explained to me what it was (July).

I lurked, and I lurked for a long while. From there I had manned the fuck up even more, and discovered people sharing my newfound views.

Now I might have ventured off-topic, so here comes my take on No-fap and TRP. They are a strong combination towards improving yourself as a man. If it wasn't for that combination, I would remain the "chill" guy that never judged anyone. Well, that is bullshit because you are supposed to judge everybody, just not be vocal about it.

Basically this combination transformed me to a person who takes shit from nobody.. I express my offensive and non-offensive opinions and put everything on the table. I established a bullshit-free zone in my dealings with people. This doesn't mean be a repulsive person, just be true with yourself, others and have a social filter.

As a result I am treated better than before. I also became self-disciplined, energetic and stopped being a slave to my desires. This is because I show value, and this value came towards working to improve myself as a man (hence the combination) and focusing on myself. Now, it's still a long way towards full improvement, but I am right on track, as I recently had started training.

When it comes to why I decided to end the No-fap challenge, it's because I felt it had served its purpose. I didn't want to become a pleasure-depraved person, and I rarely fap nowadays.

I didn't mean to tell my life story, but i felt it might be relevant in the No-fap context.

I have found lots of benefits. I feel more masculine during the day and in my interactions with everyone. My confidence is higher, and the sex is better with girls (although it can be difficult to last long the first time).

Girls love it too when I tell them. They seem to be curious about it, as it separates me from other guys. A lot of girls have sent me pictures and snapchats saying "R U tempted" "What do u think about this dress?" and stuff like that.

I have a greater appreciation for girls as well, skin feels softer, voices are sexier, I feel much more in tune with my body and people I interact with.

I came to reddit through nofap. I was mega blue-pill back then - read thru some of my posts and you'll see that. Everybody on there is mega blue-pill as well, which is why I sometimes post antagonistic things on there now just for the fun.

My experience of nofap has been excellent. It makes me think that porn is one of the things that has emasculated men of recent generations - as much as the sexual revolution and the rise of feminism. It can't be good for a man to sit at home masturbating to people he will never meet nor ever have a chance with.

And, when you haven't masturbated in a while, you get into a really cool, don't-give-a-fuck mode, where you just feel a lot more masculine. It's just an edge, where you're in control of your sexuality and much less afraid of expressing it. Girls I know get right in my face when I'm on 30+ days of nofap. It's not because I'm not masturbating as such, it's because I'm more tuned in to reality, and they sense that extra confidence and calmness.

Anybody thinking it's some kind of feminist crap is just being overly suspicious. Try it out for a month, see how you feel. I think 90% of men would see benefits from a lifestyle in which you're not reliant on porn. The only downside I've found to the nofap lifestyle is that you ejaculate ridiculously quickly. But I've always been honest with girls about it and they take that as a given - meaning round two is much more fun.

When single - Nofap is very valuable, the higher T levels and greater desire force approaches where you may otherwise have hamstered out. Just watch that scarcity mentality and manage your desperation levels carefully.

In a relationship - Often Nofap does more harm than good. The best way to get your LTR/wife to give you the sex life you want is to make her think you're just not that into her. In my experience, Nofap will lead to you chasing her for sex. Fapping when needed will cut the need and she'll wonder why you're not desperate any more.

I used it because I used to subsitute approaching girls & making moves because I knew I could get off with porn but it became bad at one point so I just stopped (5 months strong now) & I noticed i'm just more energetic & do a lot more. More aggresive & I'm not afraid to give a girl the "I want you" look into her eyes haha. I also told myself that i'm not going to get off unless it's by a female so that helps out with the approach anxiety in a way.

Not fapping at all leads to all kinds of weird shit (read the logs of people who've done it).

I was a fapstronaut for a long time, and i'd say it was a good experience since it made me research and ultimately lead me to RP. But the whole mentality around it is basically the opposite of RP, not objectifying women, being ashamed of ones sexuality, being ashamed of lusting after pornstar looking women and so on, which had a terrible TERRIBLE effect on my game. Basically nofap advocates BP nice guy behaviour, but there are some positive things about it, like quitting porn, i never looked back. Just my opinion, but nofap is bullshit. I have plenty of self-control and I don't need to stop fapping to prove that to myself. For instance, I socially smoke cigarettes sporadically and feel no need to have another the next day. Maybe not every man can do that, but I fucking can.

Fapping is not an addiction unless you feel it is really affecting your life negatively, and I would argue that for the vast majority of men, it doesn't - even those who think it does. Those people are just blaming fapping for other problems in their life that they need to fix by actually addressing the problems.

It strikes me as kind of a pre-red pill. You know, taking the blinders off of the 'do what feels good!' brainwashing that goes on in popular culture and understanding that your actions can have negative consequences.

As for the actual benefit of it, I believe that the value of it depends on you current place in life. 14 years old? You're probably better off on nofap until you're more developmentally and sexually mature. 19 years old? Jacking out the worst of the sexual energy every now and then is probably a good thing: you're sexually mature but chasing pussy is mind-numbingly inefficient. You may not be operating at 100% but you'll be even worse if you're sexually frustrated. 26 years old? Probably best to avoid masturbation, as sex is more of a plausible thing to get regularly. And so on.

Couple of points about the comments and my experience:

a lot of the comments in passing seem to use fap/porn interchangably and like they're equivalent and a package deal. you guys know you can fap without any porn right? it might even lead to more fantasizing. realizing you are turned on by (whoever) might help. everything in your brain is use it or lose it. personally i think my fap life was better without porn. porn is exciting at first, you get used to it, then it's actually less exciting than you started unless you escalate more and more. anybody experiment with noporn fapping? Doesn't sound like it.
fapping makes me tired. It can waste parts of my day. I don't know about you guys but I don't exactly have 15 hours straight to sit around on reddit. So fapping at the end of the day before sleeping, that's something to consider. doing it and sabataging your morning/afternoon somewhat, i don't like that to be a habit.

nofap does make me, well the word i woulda used is "hornier." like you guys say. you go for less good looking chicks than before. but you also appreciate a lot more details. but you may not last as long the first time. but hey a second time maybe is quicker/more genuine feeling than a fapped out mode. perhaps this is more valuable sex to both you and your partner, overall. esp. if you get used to it as opposed to getting used to always being used-up all the time before you even start.

This is just what I've figured out for myself. The main thing is to experiment and be honest about the results.

There's sufficient evidence to suggest there is a very real benefit to stopping. There isn't much evidence to support an increase in testosterone levels however thats not the only factor relevant to how testosterone works and makes you feel.

In this study they note a decline in androgen receptors and an increase in estrogen receptors and dopamine blocking opoids through sexual satiation. It would make sense that people assume test levels are rising while doing no fap but ironically they tend to stay pretty much the same. That being said your sensitivity to androgens rises making what androgens you have much more effective. High estrogen levels also have very similar symptoms as low testosterone levels in men (such as lethargy, low libido, poor motivation) so decreased receptor sensitivity to estrogen is like a double whammy.

Most people who try nofap get positive results. Abstinence has existed as a spiritual practice for thousands of years. I recommend that every man give nofap at least a two-week trial run. Edging is okay at first. You'll find that eliminating the joy of orgasm from your daily porn ritual will cause you to lose interest in porn completely.

Keep in mind this isn't for everyone, and everyone who takes on the challenge has a different reason. So it's really players choice to decide whether they need NoFap or not.

I try to do less than once a week to boost my testosterone. There is a study on fapping saying that testosterone level peek after 7 days of non fapping then reduce a little bit to be just over normal level if the non fapping period continue.

NOFAp is amazing and important.

If you FAP all day, you will become beta in my opinion. You are simply not motivated to pursue women, sex and thereby to keep your game tight. Further sexual urges underlie biologically and psychologically so many of our motivations that it also lessens your willingness to achieve grander goals.

I occasionally FAP though, especially if its been a long time and if I feel to do something beta with a plate (text/call when I shouldnt). I wack off, and then evaluate it again.

That works like a charm in not falling into old habits.

Whether or not it's worth it is really just up to the practitioner though.

As I said below to redpillschool: Porn is fine in moderation, and is fine in heavy doses for a very select few with an incredible ability to separate visual (porn) from tactile (touching in person). However a lot of people do not follow the former, and too many people think they are in the latter. That's why porn can be harmful.

I think this has more to do with being visually stimulated. When these guys are addicted to porn and jerking their dick to artificial stimulation (visual arousal), they become aroused only by the visual characteristics of a girl. This desensitizes their brain to the real deal (flesh and blood), which is why you see lots of these guys end up with ED when they do try to bang a girl. I think what some of them mean by "no longer objectifying" is that they become aroused by the femininity and presence of women, rather than just looking at their tits/ass and getting hard. Also, not every girl looks like a pornstar, and that forms a disconnect for these guys too – they're not as visually aroused because this girl is a 7/8 instead of a pornstar 10, and thus they do not have adequate sexual stimulation to get hard. In healthier people, the femininity and physical appearance of this 7/8 is quite sufficient sexual stimulation to get hard.
