Reposting here because another sub deleted it. I think it's still relevant for everyone.

I was shooting the shit with a couple buds in my class the other night and we got to the topic of dating. Two of us are active on dating apps, and one got out of an LTR recently, but we started thinking about how valuable our sperm is.

That sounds a bit insane, but hear me out -- my LTR friend said he started taking condoms with him because he was getting weird vibes from his girlfriend (4 year LTR, mind you). Personally, I always take used condoms home and dispose of them myself after I had a scare last year with a broken rubber right before my MCAT -- ended up having to change my phone number because of this. Then the third friend who is also into hooking up started getting really nervous because he left his at some random tinder girl's place, but we reassured him that he'll likely be fine, but just be careful in the future.

Plan of action: right after you have sex, go to the restroom with your pants in your hand and then wrap the used condom in TP and secure it. Don't be like me and act cool by tying a quick knot and tossing it in the bin in front of her. I got called out on that recently because she noticed I took it home -- be better.

Anyways, I just wanted to post this that if you state you are in medical school/successful, or even engage in casual fun, to be careful. The world and certainly the court systems don't give a fuck about you.

Edited - medicine is just a prototypical high-paying field, and still doesn't account for any debt, etc.
