Summery: Girlfriend of two years cheated, once it seemed like things were over she did not care. Also the people around you will not feel that bad.

Disclaimer: Although it may seem obvious for some of the seasoned red-pillers, it's important to be reminded of this stuff.

After I find out about her cheating, (emotional and not physical) she was extremely defensive "It didn't mean anything, you are taking those texts out of context, you are the only one for me I love you, stop over-exaggerating you are being ridiculous, it is all easily explainable, I would never do that to you." In the moment I really did want to believe her, because I was in denial, and why would she lie, this person was (in my mind) the most caring person I knew. So I gave her an ultimatum, okay you are not do not speak to him and I will get back to you within a week with my decision. She agreed to not talk to him ever again even though they were "bestfreinds" after a month of knowing each other.

I was obviously heart-broken and when to my friends for advice, some of them told me to dump her immediately, while other friends (mostly the friends we had in common who were girls) were on the fence saying things like. "well it wasn't technically cheating," and "what she did was wrong.. but you shouldn't have called her a whore or raised your voice at her." one shocking RP truth I heard from a friend who is a girl was "well after 2 years what did you expect." Where as i was of the mentality that after 2 years a relationship ought to be stronger than that.

In this time she would text me, even after I told her I would rather we go non contact that " I didn't want to hurt you," and l "I love you"

I had concluded that she probably didn't know what was doing and did genuinely fuck up. Even though she had not apologized, put the blame on me for over reacting and said it herself that she did mostly nothing wrong. I decided that I would still leave her because I would not be able to be in a relationship with someone who had "fucked up" that bad. I told a couple of Friends that I would leave her, but that I was waiting to see her in person because she at least deserved that.

After a while I found out through a mutual friend that she was talking to him the whole time I was "thinking about it." The whole time she was sending me the "I love you" and the "I don't want you to leave me" texts.

That was a low for me. The classic fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I was fooled, I felt so dumb. I texted her and was stupid enough to tell her how I felt and then I told her I was done. All she could reply with was k, yes, no, idk.

After a while I thought, at least I will get my revenge haha, she will be ostracized from her moralist friends, from our mutual friends and people in class will think she is a whore. Nope our mutual friends were interested, but did not care so much. Some people in our school cared, but not for more than a couple of minuets.

I remember through one of our friends that she told them something along the lines of "yeah I was upset, but then he was mean and called me a whore, so I thought fuck him." That "fuck him" was only her mentality when somebody had told her I was planning on calling it quits. As soon as she found out that she could not get commitment from her beta she did not care anymore.
I was shocked

The worst part was this was after I had read trp. I knew all these things but I let emotion and wishful thinking get the better of me, I acted like a dumb ass. In-fact sometimes when I read trp it would backfire as I would read horror stories about AWALT and how women were being unreasonable and deceptive I would think, wow I am so lucky my girl doesn't do ANY of that stuff how lucky am I, I found one of the few good ones. This mentality led me to over-invest and ignore a few red flags.

Lessons learnt: Do not expect an apology, or her to be crying, begging for you to forgive her, because she is never wrong, because if she is wrong it means she is a bad person and she cannot be a bad person.

People don't give too many shits about you and your life. You ought to expect sympathy from nobody.

Listen to that friend who tells you to dump her then and there, he knows whats up.

Even if you read RP it can happen right in-front of you and you will be blinded to it in that moment.

Do not waste your time trying to figure out why, or trying to get her to understand what she did was wrong. You both know why it happened and she will not admit fault, especially if she has nothing to gain from an admission of guilt.

If you tell someone they can't do something, they won't stop doing it, they'll do it while hiding it from you.
