Im a big fan of this subs message to go LIFT. In my opinion, it is the first commandment. Break it and life gets a whole lot tougher.

When you start lifting you're voluntarily putting yourself in a pond where you are a small fish. You are no longer among your similarly sized fat and skinny fat peers. It's too easy to not go and feel safe and secure. In the House of Iron you're now swimming with the Sharks. Join an MMA gym and you'll be among The Great Whites. You'll see big guys who've been lifting since you were in diapers. You'll feel insignificant, small and want to quit.

You've got to push on through. They were all in your shoes once. It'll takes months before you'll start to see any noticeable difference. Be patient. Only when you've shed enough sweat to honour the Iron Gods will you start to see what lies beneath. Your gf will say "I don't like big muscles on a guy". Your mom will retort "Stupid men picking weights up to put them down again". Your bp best mate will say "You gym too much bro we don't get to go drink anymore".

You'll start to notice how your new BP friends respect(fear) you more. While your old BP friends will try to neg you and pull you down. You'll see how as you age, they put on weight and you keep improving. How they're gfs feel more secure and safe in your company. How your gf passionately fucks you now and likes being man handled.

When you return to your old waters you are now the Shark surrounded by small fish. But you'll not fit in anymore. You'll long for great oceans amongst the big players. The small ponds won't satisfy you anymore. They're too small. Only an Ocean can support you now.
