She expects your constant support rather than being appreciative for your occasional voluntary help.

That's a woman who keeps you around. She is disgusted if she ever needs to help you. She thinks of your presence as a necessary evil, like having a servant or a maid. Your presence is tolerated so long as you perform specific functions. Without those functions you are useless and subsequently discarded.
