Been there, kinda. Obviously, I'm not an NFL star, I don't have millions, etc (or am I? ha)

However, with zero debt, no school loans, and a good paying job, I'm doing a lot better than my peers in terms of finances, which carries of to other things I have options to do. Traveling, cars (my main hobby), etc.

Was with a girl for 3 years, didn't want to commit in marriage. She did, and wanted 4 kids and large house. Thought I could provide - and I could, financially.

Her family and friends now view me as the manipulative guy who strung her along, not ever wanting marriage, kids, or to be part of the family. True I guess, minus the manipulative part. Whatever.

Women will shame for pretty much anything. So it is to be expected in the sexual realm against men, but really is i just a specific case of the general mode of operation for women. It their most basic functioning. The male equivalent would be if we just acted blindly on our raw ability and emotions... we'd just end up in physical dominance being the mode of operation... and historically... let's face it, that is how men operated.

Women however, continue to operate in their base value of shame. That is what you're dealing with.

If you cannot deal with shame, you cannot deal with a woman. It is how they operate. Well it is how people operate to some extent, but women use it much more and more effectively and they're allowed to use it with impunity.

Consider the following. A man thinks his wife/gf is fat. What would anyone think if every day she comes home, he tells her, honey, you're just getting fatter and fatter. This kind of female shaming has all but been removed from society. Now consider what is happening here, the husband has a real genuine want. He wants his wife to be in better shape. He is commenting on his disapproval daily. Yet, he'd be ostracized for such behavior and called an asshole.

Now consider a woman. They are allowed this behavior constantly. It goes under lots of names. Nagging, passive aggressive, complaining... but it all amounts to the same thing. Again, men do this as well, but it is less acceptable for them to do it in modern day. Women have no issue 'being mean' as it were or shaming them constantly. Be it for not having a good job or not performing female social etiquette, or not doing some house task, or not loving them enough, or whatever the case may be.

I remember dating a girl a while back who used this to an infinite degree. I keep myself relatively clean shaven in the genitals and I expect a woman to keep herself well groomed. That second, she says, well my ex didn't mind or that is superficial... Direct attempt at shaming.

I mentioned this in another thread, that these 'female' tactics get used as well by men. The 'less productive and masculine' the man, the more they use these tactics. You see this in 'victim' complex communities. Heavy use of shame and emotional outbursts. It is also strangely in these communities where 'proving your man hood' is a big thing. Whether it is ghetto african american neighborhoods or some of the more vocal muslim communities. Both places were good male role models are lacking and much raising is actually done by women. Is it then no surprise the men in these communities are basically just bigger and more violent women?

If you ever hear a man say, don't judge me... it is a sure sign of a less productive and less masculine man.

The battle for any man in the modern day is to

have enough pose to withstand shaming from women, and other men as well.
Be able to stand up for your own actual values and wants and not be afraid of being accused of shaming or being mean.
