You need a man and a woman, not only for the physical creation of a baby, but to protect and grow that baby as well.

In other words: the woman gestates and breastfeeds the baby. However, she cannot do it alone. She must be protected from harm, housed, clothed, fed and have all her needs met. If she doesn't have all these things, she and the baby will die!

In other words: women need men!

Conversely, do men need women? The answer is a resounding no. Men - as human doings - do all the things. They protect and provide all the resources to enable a family to grow.

Even today - when this process happens through the proxy of government - these dynamics are still in play, but that's a separate discussion.

It's clear that men don't need women. However, men do want women.

Just based on this factor alone, the needs of women and wants of men in the formation of family, are vastly different from one another. Add in the sexual dynamics explained in the above-linked post and these dynamics are highly exacerbated.

Women are the gatekeepers of sex and men are the gatekeepers of relationships. Because women need men for a plethora of things. Marriage is how men are bound to providing said plethora of things. Men only need a few things from women. Sex (and the resulting children) being the most important among them.

Therefore, a higher value man is a man who has more potential protection and provision to offer.

By the same token, a higher value woman is a woman who can offer more wholesome, more exclusive, more pure, healthier sex.

That's why this hag has very little value to offer to a man.
