"There's far too much to take in here, more to do than can ever be done" -Elton John

This is a question for the married fathers of young kids - when do you get time to lift?

My typical day involves waking at 7, helping get the kids ready for school, leaving for work at 8, getting home around 6-7, playing with the kids as they get ready for bed, eating once they are in bed (8ish), spending the rest of the evening with the wife until the cycle repeats. By the time I've eaten it's usually around 9pm which is when all of my local gyms are closing.

Weekends are pretty sacred family time here, we're usually doing day trips etc so there isn't really time for me to go & lift although I could possibly get one session in over a weekend - but I usually end up spending any 'me' time fixing the house, garage or garden.

I want to be doing the gym 3 days a week and also eating more as I'm sick of being called skinny (6'4", 190lbs). I want to become a man mountain who intimidates people with my sheer presence and size.

When do you find time to lift and improve your body?
