When she asks, just tell her you don't feel like putting on your location anymore, end of discussion. If she persists; broken record, AA, fog, etc. With sex happening once per month, you clearly have some deeper individual issues that need attention.

Do whatever you want, because that is what you want, not because of how your wife will respond, whether it be because she will complain or because you think it has something to do with "dread". I share my phone location, because I want her to be able to know where I am if she needs to know where I am....

Also, phones can be turned off.....

I share my location with my wife and most of my friends. It’s just useful for planning shit. No more “how far are you” texts. How is it a control thing exactly? Who cares if she knows where you are. If you really care then why are you explaining at all? Just stop doing it. Remember, always DARE never DEER.

Two things here.

Don't wanna share location. Then don't.
Little to no sex. Then don't be unattractive.

You shouldn't make this any harder than it is.

The first is easy. Youtube can show you how to reconfigure you phone. She won't beat you up, will she?

Besides withholding sex, what's she gonna do. Oh wait. You're there already, so no loss.

The second is harder and is all on you. Others already said it; OYS, read the sidebar, go lift. This shows commitment, to youself and others, that may be willing to offer input.

I used to share my info, never bothered me. It's not like I wasn't somewhere I didn't say I was going to be. I no longer do this though. I've changed phones and since they are no longer compatible we are no longer connected.

Remember this goes both ways. You also know where she is if you wish to look. If you want to turn it off though just tell her that you're doing so since you no longer want apple or whomever to know exactly where you are as they have too much of your info already. No need to turn it into a fight. Sounds to me that you have larger/bigger problems in this relationship and her knowing your location (which really doesn't matter) is just not the real issue you're making it out to be.
