Bars vs Clubs?

Clubs is very much based off first attraction, if you’re tall and attractive then clubs is easy mode. I’d one hundred percent go for bars, as you can actually get a conversation going and it isn’t crowded with 18-19 year olds usually. However if you have to go to clubs because that’s what your friends are doing, I’d say try build up a conversation in the smoking area.

I prefer bars, especially those that have a dancefloor since it's kinda like getting the best of both worlds.

To piggy back on another comment, I read a post a while back that helps a bit.

Go around to different places and act as if you're a tourist travelling in another country with the intent on learning about the people and culture.

Bars because I'd be looking for a grown woman. You can usually hold a conversation without too much distraction. Either place it boils down to the initial attraction anyway.

Nope, it doesn't work that way.

You need to move your ass and do some scouting. Visit multiple different venues in a single evening. See whats out there in your area. Which places are packed. Where are the cutest girls. Who are your favourite DJs. Where do you feel the most comfortable?

Also most people who go to club, drink somewhere beforehand. Bars, house parties or even on a bench in a park.

Personally I’d say clubs forsure, I had more luck there but only due to the fact I’ve only been to bars a handful of times, I’m decent looking when I actually groom myself good but when it comes to conversation skills/ game i am horrible so that’s why I don’t do bars but clubs it just depends the vibe of the night and I guess luck?

What I found particularly effective at clubs in not going there with intention of meeting women. Rather you should go there in hopes of simply turning up - watch how the birdies flock towards you. And honestly just don’t give af about how you dance just do your thing.

Depends on the club, but it is largely the hardest type of venue due to the level of noise, girls going in groups to 'guard' each other from dancing with other guys, couples going together, the dynamics of the VIP/bottle service, and emphasis on looks.

I'd start with bars and get good at that. Once you have confidence in your ability to walk into any bar and strike up a conversation and have a good time, try a club or two again. Clubs are also easier if you have a group to go with, and a mixture of men and women, not just guys. Groups of guys at clubs are female-repellent.

They’re both overrated for meeting girls imo. More competition and girls are more stuck up since everyone’s approaching them. I like clubs better though. Meet way more girls there than bars

Bars are good for "game" I went to a legitimate club once all you have to do is stand and kinda dance in place. the only notion given is if they get in front of you and begin to dance too. There are no words just eye contact, facial expression, and body language.

I am in a dilemma whether to go to bars or to clubs for the game.

Let's back the train up a bit. What is "game" talking about, really?

It's about navigating social interactions to get to sex or a relationship. This requires at least a basic foundation of social skills.

If you don't already have these, then going to a bar or club and trying to level up there is kind of like putting yourself behind the wheel of an F1 formula racer and trying to take a lap at full speed.

People can do it. But there are other places where you can incrementally build up your foundation if you aren't picking things up going the trial by fire route.

Personally I don't feel much hopeful about clubs as you need to have good body language and dance to actually make any contact.

And before body language and dance technically come into play, it's important to be on the same wavelength as people at the club. Meaning that if you're there trying to run game and you're not invested in the actual fun of the place, then you're going to stand out like a sore thumb no matter what techniques you try to use.

And the music is so loud that you can't break a conversation there.

Right. Clubs are often oriented around nonverbal communication in the early phases of interacting.

Then there is the problem of too many people.

Too many people is not really a problem except in how we react to it.

It can be intimidating, but if you really think about it, more people means more chances that there's someone you'll get along with.

I have been going to clubs since last 2 weeks but I could never get the confidence to go and talk to someone.

2 weeks isn't long. "Never" in two weeks is not a big deal except in your head.

That said, I would recommend that you put aside the notion of night game. This is really more advanced.

You might try your hand at something more manageable in order to build up confidence in the general activity of meeting strangers, male or female.

That would involve the basic level. If you're not comfortable with this, it's not complicated to build up your confidence by looking for social events in your area on FB and sampling a few every week. (It literally just takes an FB search with the name of your city and different activities.)

I prefer bars because I tend to do better when I can actually have a conversation which is next to impossible at clubs. All depends on your style of game some people will do better at bars vs clubs and vice versa.

It is as you say. Clubs are very much about physical attraction at first sight and bars are more about interaction.

I prefer bars because you can talk and there's usually stuff to do like darts or pool, even if you aren't good at it. Not being good at bar activities can actually be part of your appeal if you have the right attitude about it.

Some of the bars around here have board games like connect 4 or crocodile dentist and stuff like that. They can be fun props to use as ice breaker

Clubs are only good if you already know people there who treat you well (staff) or have a lot of money to blow. If you have neither, you’re gonna be treated like shit the whole night.

Just go and ask indirect questions like where is the bathroom? What time is it? What's the drink you have etc.give a reason as well. Then give a compliment and introduce yourself. Works great if you have anxiety. Do only the first part if you can't continue. In clubs you have to talk in other person's ear. Other tips are drink a little bit and dance without expectations someone might vibe with you
