In general it depends what you mean with "getting" them. When you mean with getting just some short term interaction than making yourself older might increase your chances to get them.

If you plan to interact with them for a long term don't do it. Do not lie. Be honest. In general age should not matter that much. Some women might not be into younger guys but there are enough older women that have younger bfs.

I've lied a lot of times about my age cause I look older than my age. Last time I hooked up with a 33yo telling her I am 29 to 30 next month so I could narrow the age gap. I am 25. I know age is just a number but that's a taboo for many women. And because I act my said age then everything is fine.

Women don’t like older men simply because they’re older. They like them because they have more resources and are more established. Get a degree if you haven’t already, get a job that you’re actually interested in, have a high income skill. Idk you’re age but there are men in their late 30s who are miserable, age has nothing to do with it.

In terms of the question, I think it depends on firstly how someone takes care of themselves (no/little alcohol and coffee, life stress and how to handle it constructively, working out, diet, etc.) Alcohol, drugs, and/or smoking make someone look older overtime. Some people just plainly look older or younger naturally. Most of the time, people in general can tell if you are older or not.

In terms of your preference in age, based on my experience, women who are over 30 feel uncomfortable with telling their age (not all, but most/a lot). Majority of the time, guys typically date women who are 4-5 years younger and for women it is reverse. My parents are 15 years apart and they are still happily married to this day (father being the older one). I know that is a big age difference and know that is the exception to the rule and/or rare. No problem in wanting someone older, but don't let that preference dictate your priority of kids and family if you want that.

Not worth it. Eventually if you two match it will come out and worst case be regarded as a big red flag because you lied.

I'm 26 and it may be a deal-breaker to younger women but anything over 20 probably won't care as the difference in lifestyle probably ain't that big.

That being said, you don't have to tell if no one asks. After all, age doesn't say shit about you as a person or your experiences. I don't understand why so many people tend to focus so much on stuff one can't alter anyway.
