Been doing daygame for about two months now.

I've been opening direct with "I think you're beautiful and wanted to say hi"

I started to notice a pattern where shy asian women would more often than not get weirded out by being approached this way and try to get out of the situation as quickly as possible even if they were flattered by the approach and probably attracted to me.

I tried something different yesterday. I lead with:

Me: "Don't hate me"
Her: "What?"
Me: "Don't hate me. I think you're beautiful and wanted to say hi"

...this led to an insta-date.

I should point out that this probably only works on certain personality types. I assume more bold, extroverted women will be turned off by the non-alphaness of the opener. Also, there may be better openers that successefully deal with her being shy without saying something beta like "Don't hate me" ... but I don't know what they are.
