How do girls internalize a "cute" guy vs. a "hot" guy?

I think that both cute and hot can be used interchangeably but in general "hot" requires a hot body, whereas cute isnt as sexy.

I don't sleep with guys I find "hot." In my experience, beautiful, muscular, or talented men (who know how to dress to compliment their features <-this is important in my mind's "hot") come with a distinct "God's gift to the world/women" attitude which is a complete turn off to me. So they're hot, ie nice to look at, but not sexy.

"Cute" guys are the considerate, attentive, polite guys that make my insides do flippity flops. THESE guys are sexy. Sex/relationships, to me, work out best when both people are interested in pleasing the other person. So if a guy is listening to what I say and picking up my cues I feel like I'm more likely to want to reciprocate and have sexual chemistry with him. I also wouldn't say that shyness or meekness is a prerequisite to this label, but I definitely don't mind becoming the aggressor when everything else fits, so it's also not an issue if they are.

Every once in awhile you find a cute hot guy, but they're a rare breed. (currently dating one awww yeeea)

Note: calling a girl hot is a good way to psyche yourself out, and hype it up in front of friends which might backfire... So referring to the most gorgeous and sexy slammin chicks as cute or cuties is a solid way to downplay it and calm the nerves, as perceived hotness tends to seem like more is on the line :)
