From being a clueless virgin to having it easy - it took me about 5 years.

Neil Strauss mentioned the same. That it took him about that long.

This is why you should really temper expectations from short-term coaching or boot camps.

If you’re practicing at least 2-3 times a week approaching 10 girls a night, not too long. It only took me a couple months to get some results I was happy with, still not where I want to be though. Hardest part was getting to the point where I could go out consistently and talk to multiple girls a night.

There’s never a stage in which you have finished “learning game”, there will always be room for improvements because it’s not just based on your social skills with women, it comes down to your mindset and how you condition your brain to work. This is something that can always be improved.

I would suggest you re adjust your mindset, don’t think of it as a linear thing where one day you will have “learnt” game and you can be happy, just get out there, start learning and improving and don’t ever stop

Game isn't about women/dating. It's about you. Loving yourself, respecting yourself, knowing who you are, knowing what you want, what you allow in your life, and knowing what to do to get it without losing your self-respect. Basically until you're dead, you never stop learning game.

Men, women and children should all learn game.

Most guys try the game, then they get into a relationship with the first girl. So, they never advance. Then 5 years later after breaking up, they have to start from zero

a) - If you learn alone:

Between 2-5 days to learn the entire theory + terms + concepts

Between 5 days to 2 weeks to have the courage to approach a woman (depending on the level of your approach anxiety)

It takes a lot of time to gain that charisma, and it's incredibly difficult to learn everything by yourself, especially figuring out all kinds of jokes. It's much easier if you see them and learn those jokes, stories, or routines directly. Initially, you'll have enough material to be charismatic for about five minutes, but slowly/progressively as you gain experience, you'll be able to maintain that same charismatic presence for an hour or even longer if needed.

b) - If you learn in a bootcamp with other guys, it is easier, it won't take you more than three days to gain the confidence to talk to women, plus you will also know some basic theories and you will also hear all kinds of jokes/routines, everything is much easier and faster.

Took me 2 months more or less to get good enough at daygame to lose my virginity.

One year later I'm having sex twice a week with random girls from daygame . I only talk to girls during the day, no apps, no bars or clubs and I have a pretty abundant sexual and romantic life .

So no it shouldn't take that long. Issue is most of the advice is wrong or outdated.

It's really just basic social skills what people call 'naturals' - ( but if someone is maybe on the spectrum etc I guess it could take anywhere from a year to never? (maybe you can never really learn to hold eye contact for examlpe)

But for a normal dude, he already does everything that is in game/pua books. Or at least 90% of it which is enough. But if I had to put a number on it for that dude, I'd say a month or two of going out a few nights per week. I mean, one could read the mysterymethod and 'the natural' and maybe watch/learn an RSD product all in a few days.

I think it depends on your social skills, who you are and skill you got in life. For the record I never initiate any interaction with women to get a date I did cuz I need something in school,work or wherever, I have female friends and a lot of interaction with women, so the first time I ask for a number when I was 24 , I was a little nervous, she denied but I was not aware she was on a call it just that she take off her ear pots to talk to me. Anyway from that time to later it was easer but I think cuz I was used to talk to women even though I haven't dated yet.

On your own, 5-10 years.

With a mentor, 6 months to a year as long as you're consistent and have the balls to override your desire for companionship and walk away from women who aren't right for you.

Not being consistent and compromising on your values in hopes of getting a girl are the main things that slow you down.

And the girls you compromise for aren't all bad too. But that's the danger. They have legitimate good aspects about them that tempt you to use those as excuses to look past their bad aspects.

For me, 4 years, there's no fixed time it'll be different for everyone, if you really study material and do approaches, keep a log in sure you'll see significant progress, maybe 1-2 years you'll be proficient

You never stop learning, even when you become a coach yourself.

That being said, to get to an advanced level, I'm talking pulling at least 50 girls a year, it will take several years to learn the ropes. A little less if you work with a coach.

I think resonably to be a pickup coach you need a masters degree (5 years). To "just be good" enough to get girls is a diploma (2 years). You can refer to my post "how to learn pickup." It structures the progression nicely in a big timeline format. These years and timelines assumes that you are going at it hardcore, and not messing around.

Update: some guy was complaining about being stuck here about a week ago . We talked and for some reason he listened to me. He just pulled two girls home at the same time, on his first nightgame session after months . He never did that before.

its too bad I give so much advice on the forum and it just gets lost in the noise .
