I prefer super talkative girls. I was in a relationship with one for 5 years, so i know how to handle them. When a girl is shy and won't talk, that's when I'm lost.

The thing with super talkative girls is that you have to realize that their propensity to talk over everyone is usually a result of the communication style of the family environment they were brought up in. They learned that you have to talk like a steamroller probably becasue their parents communicated this way. Normal conversational rules don't apply to them. If you wait your turn to speak, it just makes you seem awkward in her eyes. She expects you to interrupt and talk over her. You don't have to keep up with her, but if you have something to say, you have to match her energy level and just put it out there.

If I don't really want to pursue anything, and I know this is mean, I really really really enjoy just saying the words, "Boy, you sure do like to talk." right in the middle of a sentence. Added points if you have a drink with a straw in it you can make that slurping noise with after. I've only ever done it once non-jokingly, and surprisingly it went over pretty well. Makes you feel like a boss.

my advice:

if you want a relationship, give her a chance. She might have been too talkative because she was nervous. Also I would have told her if I were you, saying "you just can't stop talking" is a bad thing. But give her cues like "hey let me talk".
if you just want to fuck her, man up and don't post shit like this here.

I think that's a great situation to be in. She's the one who's talking more, so she's actually the one who is investing more on the conversation. In situations like that, you should do the triangle stare trick (I forgot what it's actually called, but I read it somewhere here on seddit) where you stare into her right eye, then left eye, then her lips, rinse and repeat. You stare into her eyes, agree with whatever she's saying while talking slowly ("uh huh", "sure", "okay), and lean in closer to her while doing it. As what DutchPUA is saying, what you need to do is build up sexual tension while she's talking. Also, kino if possible. That's bound to get your conversation somewhere interesting.

Personally, I hate those types of girls. I had a few girlfriends who were like that. Never again.

The only time it works out is when she happens to talk about shit I want to talk about (which isn't often). In high school though, I used to be a lot more introverted and untalkative, and those girls showed me how to open up a bit more, so that was cool. I've only had a couple really talkative girlfriends I was able to actually appreciate though (and with some of them, I grew to love how talkative they were, despite it being a turnoff originally).

So it really depends. With some girls (presumably the type you're talking about), there's almost literally nothing you can do. If you like them enough to continue being with them, you basically either gotta become more talkative yourself, or be content with staying quiet and letting em do their shit, or whatever. You probably won't be able to "change" a girl who's like that, so it generally won't be worth it to try. You either have to accept em for it or bail.

But if we're talking about that first night you meet or whatever, she can be talkative for a number of reasons- maybe she's drunk, or nervous, or whatever. If that's the case, you can handle it however you want (assuming you want to get with her). Just be quiet and be a good listener, or talk a lot yourself. Not much else you can do.

Sometimes girls talk when they are nervous. I sometimes go in for the kill earlier if they talk to much, then they usually shut up. Also. I kind of like girls that talk, so that you dont have to carry the conversation. Then I can sit back and be midly critical and sometimes add to the conversation.

I think this girl is probably just semi interested in going out with you, since a) she rejected you from closing, b) she talked about herself non stop instead of trying to get to know you.

If you are still interested in her, I say take her to some place where she can't talk so much while you can perform kinos, like a dance club or movies.

Problem with this type of conversation is that you will have to PRETEND you are interested in her topics, pick out ones that she seems most interested in and ask her at the right time. No one is more interested in talking about themselves but themselves.

If you don't like her, find someone you do like. I think a mistake I made in the past was not having standards other than how attractive she is. If you're bored with her, probably she's not sensing a connection either.

Comfy enough to talk to you? Uhhh no man. Incessant chatting is a girls defense mechanism when she is nervous. This way she remains in control of the topic, and limits your ability to take things where you want it to go. First date with you that you are sure she is into you from a friend? Ya she's panicking dude. Do you think she would have any friends if she ignored everyone's time to talk and just spoke over? If she starts yammering on the second date man, either tell her in the middle to just calm down and relax or try to hook up with her and get out of it knowing she is not for you. Or the classy route, forgot that one, and just tolerate her chatter again and bid her goodnight swearing to yourself to never show interest to her again.

Women gain pleasure chemically in their minds from talking. Talking is also a very feminine trait. (this is from the ebook Practical Female Psychology...which also made a point that you want to let her talk more anyway because its more feminine, while you talk less and hold more eye contact because that is more masculine...it was an interesting idea they went into detail about)

Singing releases endorphin so it's probably along the same lines as that.
