Yes, there is. Game has a purpose, i.e. get laid. Social skills are a tool, a tool with no purpose has no meaning. It is asking if swordfighting and being a ninja are the same.

When we are talking about Game, the way you will implement said social skills and the opportunities that you will have will be different than the skills you will need in a business meeting for example. Also how fast you are planning to go with the seduction will even require different use of the skillset. We can go on and on about this. Just because there are overlaps doesnt mean they are the same

Depending on what your social skills currently are, then initially, maybe nope.

However, when it comes to intent, escalation, flirting, etc, then its a bit more specialized than just "social skills". Then no, generic social skills will not cover this.

Because there are some people on here, who do not understand that rejection is part and parcel of the game, I will also state, that Game, is more of learning a dance, as opposed to just being blunt and saying "Hey, bend over I wanna fuck you". It is not some magical skill, however, as everyone knows and anyone who has approached more than 2 women in their life knows, rejection is part and parcel of this, just accept it (seriously, having a meltdown because someone rejected you, makes you look even more unattractive in the long run).

I mean women aren’t going to sleep with men they aren’t attracted to, so good game is just kind of good social skills combined with being attractive enough, being willing to fuck some kinda drunk girls and be in places where there are women to take home. The greatest fishermen in the world go where the fish are. The most prolific men go to college bars and night clubs and are usually fun to talk to.
