they should have done a facebook and NOT SOLD. okc is THE dating site for young people, which means it will be THE site for older folks when they 'grow up.' and we all well know, in the future, no one will meet anybody in real life. ha! okc is only going to get bigger. damn shame.

Nobody here should be wasting time on online dating, anyways. Probably the biggest underlying principle in PUA is to get off your ass and get out into the world. There's women everywhere, and they're likely to be a hell of a lot more normal than some of these anti-social wackos on the Internet.

Sure, maybe you'll pull a decently normal gal from online, but it doesn't help your real-world game improve at all.

I don't even friend girls on Facebook, let alone try to meet them through a dating site. It simply puts you on a bad footing, as any guy on online dating has to work extra hard to prove desperation didn't put him there.

Maybe you aren't desperate, just lazy. However, in the end you're going to have to work a lot harder not to appear like your generic e-creeper, and that wasted time is much better spent in the field.

In my opinion, anyways....

If we look on the bright-side....

OkCupid's interface is bloody great; match.com are unlikely to change it too much. When you combine this with the advantages of paid dating (e.g: people checking in regularly so as not to waste money, people more keen to meet so as not to waste money) we might have a net win!

There really lacks any dating sites that are free that are any good and I JUST discovered OK Cupid to meet some women in my area. I was really surprised how everything seemed truly free and is similar to the way myspace used to be except a lot better, more userfriendly, and it had those scientific ways of matching you with other people.

Looks like my use that site will end soon..
