I read Mark Manson's 'Models' a couple months ago, and have really put some effort into improving my own life, and not only trying to make it appear awesome in the eyes' of others. I read a ton now - maybe a book or more a week. I started auto-crossing, which is basically a form of amateur auto racing. And I have been maintaining healthy living habits (e.g., eating clean, keeping my place tidy, and so on). Oh, and I also started a blog that incorporates philosophy with practical ways of implementing philosophical ideas in life. Anyways...

I don't feel like things are much different. I don't really see any drastic differences in my life and I feel like the same guy as I was before I started focusing on investing in my self. Here's the thing though. I've noticed women are a lot more attracted to me now, and I'm pretty sure I'm not delusional about this notion.

For instance, my good friend's girlfriend was blatantly hitting on me in front of him the other day after I shared stories and experiences of the last few weeks of some of these hobbies I've taken up. Then, the girl next door to me who has never really shown me any signs of attraction was twirling her hair and asking me question after question in our conversation we had the other night. Oh, and my co-worker wrapped herself around my arm when we went out to lunch this week. My point is this - women have never really showed me obvious attraction like this ever in my life... okay, well my girlfriend in high school did, but that doesn't count.

In any case, it's a really odd feeling to get a little female attention without really trying to get female attention, especially if you're someone like me who has never had it. I guess this idea and implementation of focus on self-improvement really is important to building attraction and just a generally happy, healthy life.
